Nice rig. I used to have a Chapparral built by Wayne Walgrave with a Mark 55H that would knock on the door of 80mph! It would corner at WOT and there wasn’t anything in its class that would touch it. Good old days.
@@RichardSacher Back in the early 80s I restored a Crusader tunnel Hull the deck was only 1/8" plywood. When I was 15 built my first Hydroplane from 3/8" plywood it was 4 x 8ft with 18hp Sea King OB & smoked my buddies speedboat with a 115hp mercury lol
Mod 44's with pipes set up for kilo's have a very hard time doing 100 mph so 60 to 70 mph is about the best these old Mercury 44 cid motors will do @@rodbramsjr8823
Cool.
I actually had of those when I was a kid.
Tricked out with a Short shaft V4 50 Sea Horse.
It was a solid 55 mph boat.
Back in the 80s I had a 10' shovel nose Sid Craft with a 30H... gawd that boat was fun!
Awesome, I hope someone enjoyed rebuilding that as much as rippin it!
Thanks for sharing this video that’s cool!
Looks terrifyingly fun.
Not at all very steady ride

Install trim and a jackplate. Low water pickup and hold on!!!

Round here the first question to be asked would be.....well wheres he gunna out his fishing rods?. .....fuck I hate this town!!@!

He could use some trim up on that boat

Imagine 7 or 8 extra MPH without chubby Rick as driver
