How many bags do you needed? I was just about to buy the new weather strips, but I will give a shoot to this DIY solution. Thanks bro....
Plan on 2 bags per side. One for the inner door strip and one for the ones attached to the doors
Try some silicone spray to help the backer rod too slide before it breaks
What can it hurt to do this? I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for sharing.
If its your side doors i bet the door frame uppers are bent from locking keys in car and a professional unlocking it there tools bend frames you can bend it back or re aline the door higher would work 100%
The guy locked the keys in it the day I bought it lol. Definitely already bent the frames back.
Should be using at least a decibel meter.
I just purchased one actually. I have a second element to do this work on and I will make a better video
