Thank you so much, this helped me better understand belting a little bit, it’s so hard to find accurate information about singing so this was very helpful

Ooo I love this one! Trying to strengthen my belt. Your videos are so good...and entertaining! (meow) If your cats had their own channel, I swear I would follow them too! LOL

Thank you Kathleen, I love your videos and your positive vibe! I’m using your exercises for a local singing group I’m running, to help people find their voice and develop confidence. Of course I’m telling them about you and providing links to your videos. You are inspiring!

Probably best to work with a coach on that, but 1 - it shouldn't hurt, and 2 - lots of great write-ups out there like this one! auditioningforcollege.com/musical-theatre/training/belting-is-not-screaming/

Good morning! (My, you post these really early.) My cat bites metal things, but doesn't lick them... Cats are so... Anyway, with another recent video I felt like I was rehearsing for Snow White or Cinderella, piping away at high arpeggios and pirates; this one feels ore like a stepmother -- which would be more age appropriate. I started with the "Strengthening through Menopause" and have been loving them all.
    Thank you thank you!

Why was the “Never No” so hard for me? The breaks were harder to control

It's always great to notice when an exercise feels challenging so you can figure it out. That exercise can be difficult to navigate because it's can bring heavy register/chest voice higher than we're accustomed to! Try checking for relaxation in the jaw and tongue... then try it on different sounds and syllables before coming back to it.
