Vetril Dease wow. For a third party observer, you’ve got a lot of rage without any of the facts. Odd. They lived next to me not above me first of all. Secondly slamming the walls and outrageous screaming matches and the slamming of every door and cabinet probably aren’t necessary unless they are on as many roids as you, which seems unlikely since two of them are female and one is a child. Then again you’re on roids and are also a child. Ps- it will be easier to walk if you remove the stick imbedded in your ass. Whatta douche canoe.
Damn, yeah that's awkward. It's hard to communicate something that personal to your neighbor. Especially if they have a child. Children are going to be loud, play, run around, and possibly slam things. And honestly telling your child to be quiet every time they do those things is simply cruel sorry. I guess the adults in the home could try to keep their noise down. But you also have to remember that not everyone lives their life the same. Some people's lives consist of a boasting social life, family and kids, or disagreements between one another. You just won't have the peace and quiet you truly want until you find a single-family home instead where your not wall to wall with anyone. In conclusion, I would say nothing at all and try to figure out a way to soundproof my own apartment because approaching something that is personal with a neighbor could make the situation worse!
Yeah. I got you bro. I meet exactly the same situation rn. Mine is like the neighbors play the loud TV and the bass go through the wall very easily. I talked to them twice and they just get mad. It’s like really hard to communicate with them if they’re a douchebag. Try some background music and also soundproof your room.
You shouldn’t have to noise proof an apartment. Apartment should be build with quality material. After you buy all that unnecessary furniture you might as well buy a house.
Crazy I love in a luxury high rise in Frisco and I hear my neighbors and they are loud Africans and the cops have been here several times. I shouldn’t have sound proof a place I spend over 1500 for. I can’t wait until my lease is up in 7 months. I was so happy when I moved here, not anymore. I paid less at another place and it was horrible. Now I hear people through the concrete above me and wall. Texas is building really cheap and using cheap materials. I’m buying a house soon. I can’t take it anymore. It’s not healthy when you can’t sleep. And a lot of people are working from home. I don’t get how people talk that loud and not think of their neighbors. My peaceful place is not peaceful now that the floor filled up with people. I thought it was quiet. That’s because there was no one living here. All this money and noise. I know they say buying a house is a lot but it’s worth it. I can’t work, sleep, study or relax like this and o can’t be let out of my lease or move to another unit. If I do it will cost me 500 to move to another apartment plus 2889, the two month concession they gave for free. I shouldn’t have to pay especially complaining for over 4 months.
@@lifeisbeautiful9455 I hear you. I recently moved back home (my childhood home) in Texas to spend time with my parents and they have new neighbors and they're loud, drunken, illegal Mexican's. I should clarify, I'm Hispanic, born here in USA, but my family doesn't have drunken, loud ass parties all day/everyday. I don't care if people have their parties but why do they blast their music as LOUD as possible all day/night. Sadly, my parents house is very close to the neighbor. I've called the cops many times too, and I've told them to lower it. At some point I'm going to speak with the police and ask them why they aren't issuing tickets. All I can suggest when you buy your home, make sure there is a good distance between you and your neighbor. Neighbors can be noisy even if you have your own home. I don't have a home yet, but Im pretty confident I will have to have a decent amount of land between neighbors. I also want to look into living near seniors or a very small town. Also, I'm pretty confident I don't want to live in Texas - it's changing for the worst. Too many people are here and more are coming.

And now that I do - I'm terrifyed of living in it 😑
None of this will help if you have mentally deficient, socially inept neighbors who act like 5 year old unsupervised children. Every day they drag furniture, have "stomping exercises", bang on walls. Sometimes they wake up at 4:30 am put on work boots and walk around for hours while doing this. Even occasional drilling, and hammering like their apartment is a work space. Complaints to management do nothing. These people are strangers I do not wish to confront or deal with them nor should that be a tenants duty, they signed a lease. It is a landlords duty to provide peaceful dwelling not a tenants job to confront other people who live there for being idiots.
My neighbors above me have a stereo/subwoofer and while its not loud, it has a low frequency that vibrates. What soundproof method can I use on the ceiling that works best to deaden the vibrations? Thanks
Smart landlord apartment how do reduce sounds of neighbors slamming there closet door and hitting the dam walls like teenagers. When they are 50 or 60 year's old.
I'm definitely looking into getting some acoustic paneling. I have some very inconsiderate and obnoxious neighbors. A few months back they moved out all their things so their apartment could be renovated, and I've recently heard them come back to check up on the repairs. I'm taking preemptive action because I can't put up with their shenanigans any longer, and it'll give me at least a bit more peace and quiet while I start looking for somewhere else to move.

Great advice, but my upstairs neighbors only get louder when my wife and I talk to them nicely. They are so loud that putting cotton in my ears and headphones, they are still loud. They are Indian and one just moved from India 3 months ago. They are louder than someone just moving in.
Has there been any improvement? I sure hope so, I know exactly what it's like. I have dealt with chronic noise issues no matter where I live the last 10 years. I've lived in 4 different places in that time and each unit has had serious problems with noise. I just don't understand why this problem is not taken more seriously by the owners and those who are responsible for these buildings. 2 sheets of drywall and a stud frame wall with NO insulation is just plain unacceptable for shared walls in apartments...that should be illegal, I dont' care what the excuse is about cost or any of that B.S. Reasonable soundproofing should be 100% mandatory building code with no exceptions, and if any older buildings don't have adequate sound proofing, then the rent should be drastically reduced if the problem can't be fixed. And also why people have a completely unnecessary need to be so loud in the first place is infuriating. I have always tried to be as quiet as is practical for my neighbors, but have never gotten the same treatment in return. We all deserve peace and quiet for the money we're paying.
I'm literally being vibrated to insanity. I live in a block of 8 units. And right next to railroad tracks. But it's the music with a very loud base from 3 of the units Oh and I won't forget the old fashioned air cons with a very loud rumble. Can anyone please help?
That reminds me of the apartment next to the subway in the movie Se7en, if you've seen that movie. Sorry to hear that, that would be extremely disrupting to say the least. I had a neighbor once that was blasting rock and metal music SO loud I could feel it 4 apartments away in my unit. I'm a guitar player that plays the style of music he was playing, but that was just way too loud for an apartment complex when I can feel the drums 4 units away in my apartment...and people with their rap/bass are even worse usually.
We live in a three floored, 7 unit apartment in Fargo. It was built sometime in the 50’s-60’s. No insulation in the wall’s, and bottom neighbor is on the gogo juice. I’ve spoken with legal aid, and they informed me they could help get us out the lease . I have done a lot of trying to block them out but team no sleep keeps ear hustling.
