If you ski on a day that requires a mask, you have only one choice: Anon MFI, a feature that transforms your experience on the slopes when it's frigid, snowing, or windy.
I can't seem to find your guys' dedicated Giro Comp review video. Thanks for all the information, without you guys I dont know how I'd possibly pick a goggle!
following you guys since 2018 (i think ;) ), The distance made it kinde of a inconvenience (living in EU) to order from you but, damn, the reviews and tips made it a whole for me ever since, when it comes to snow goggles. Thank you for that! First the Smith Squad XL, but after 4 years the foam completely crumbled(?) since last year the Anon M5
The infrared is a great choice! We've long been of the opinion that Giro's goggles & lens tech are underrated. The comfort and contrast achieved is well on par with the likes of Smith and Oakley. Check em out!
I like the smith 4D mag goggles (women’s). They work well in extreme conditions ie low light or below -15. They don’t fog up. Superb vision when you can’t see a damn thing. Easy to swap. Fit great with smith helmet. Great visibility in all extreme conditions
@@MsFruittwist I've never switched on mountain. Usually pick the lens prior to going. If need be, i'd keep the extra lens in my inside jacket pouch. Never had to do that. the low light glasses are kept for the really fogging days, otherwise i rock standard and am fine. Low light lens are very helpful and important for the days when they're needed.
@@Trevo-o4c Then I think this technology is redundant haha. Might as well just buy two whole goggles, way cheaper and just as convenient. I'm wondering if people are actually switching on the mountain and where they keep the extra lens.
@@MsFruittwist2 sets of goggles isn’t cheaper at all. Definitely not “way cheaper”. I ride with a small backpack that I put water, snacks etc… I keep my extra lens in there and have definitely switched mid day.
Wondering why the lenses so expensive. People been loving Anon for interchangable lense feature and that mfi mask, not the vision. For the best vision usually go for Oakley's Prizm / Smith / Dragon
Hi! Best of(s) are chosen on a number of factors including sales, reviews, performance, tech, versatility, aesthetics, etc. The M5 is a fantastic goggle, though the M4 accommodates a wider variety of rider with it's 2 lens shape options and sizes.
Do you wear a size L for the Line Miner Pro? If so, do you think a Medium would fit fine for you? I have a similar size head and would go for a large however, I've found a brand new pair on eBay, although there a Medium. So do you think I should pay extra for a size large or go for the Medium?
the M4 (frame) gets it shape from the lens, so the more bugeye shape (shown in the video) but they also have a more square shape like the line miners if you want that, and both those shapes work in the same M4 frame, idk why they didnt mention it
HI! Any goggle marked OTG (Over The Glasses) should adequately support glasses worn underneath. That said, prescription inserts are a FAR better option for many reasons including a much broader viewing range, Fog fighting capabilities, and comfort. Hi there I’m either going to buy the Oakley flight deck L in the sapphire however I’ve found a pair of anon m4s for £190. Seeing as I’m going for a ski season I feel the anons may be better equipped but I’m not sure which to go for. Any tips ??
Hi! The Flight Decks a great goggle and the Prizm lens tech delivers amazing contrast. The one upside to Anon is that it comes equipped with 2 lenses for different lighting conditions and is very easy to swap out the lenses on the fly. The FD comes with only 1 lens but additional lenses can be purchased. However, the interchangeability requires a bit more effort. Hope this helps!
Never tried m4, but owning Oakley, specifically Prizm Garnet and looking to buy Prizm Persimmon for overcast conditions. I believe Oakley makes the best quality lenses, some people they're a lot better than Anon's optics. Some peeople say they've been fogging up but I've only faced this issue once when it was snowing like crazy, yet it was warm and I've had super thick puffer jacket so my body was heating like crazy and that's why my Oakley's fogged up once. After I bought new ski specific shell jacket and got my layering system on lock - no fogging ever happened. I believe you just can't go wrong with Oakley as long as it fits your face, make sure to get a helmet compatible model tho, it's meant to work together in order to avoid fogging up.
Can you do a review of the new 2025 Smith photochromic chromapop lenses? They now have a wider VLT 15-55%. How fast does this new NXT technology take to change shades? Is it faster than the previous version?

Thank you for showing a bunch of different views of them on face
Considering a move from Oakley prizm Rose to Giro Infrared. Opinion?

This lense swapping thing… do people take the extra lense in a backpack or can you put it in your pocket?

man the line miner pro looks awesome !
The antifog sucks due to the single pane, would not recommend at all
@ I’m still huge fan of M4 been using for like 4 seasons now
Fog like crazy !
@@spiritm6 good to know
What is your take on the Out of Elektra?
My boys rocked some anons for japan and they were trash for anti fog. My dragon nfxs were the choice out of the group
Have a buddy that just got the m4s and he said the same. He was definitely disappointed after spending that much money.
M4s with mfi are a dream. I just hate how expensive the lenses are but they do have crispy vision.

@dz6815 idk dude the lenses show a ton of definition in the snow. All the high end brands are good.
Review the Glade Adapt 2 I'm curious about the lens technology
Great suggestion! 🤞
You didn’t talk about the 4D mag from Smith ??🤔🤔 so strange….
i love mine game changers
Thanks for this video.
Do you have any thoughts on the Julbo Cyrius goggles?
Hi! Have yet to try them out, but looks like a decent goggle
how come this year the m4 is on the list and last year the m5 was on it?

HI! Does the Smith IO Mag have a very good range of view and also, can it fit with basically any smith helmet?
Yes & Yes!
Do you wear a size L for the Line Miner Pro? If so, do you think a Medium would fit fine for you?
I have a similar size head and would go for a large however, I've found a brand new pair on eBay, although there a Medium.
So do you think I should pay extra for a size large or go for the Medium?
Why choose the anon m4 over the m5?
They have made a video already
M4 is an XL goggle and M5 is a large goggle. Different aesthetics.
the M4 (frame) gets it shape from the lens, so the more bugeye shape (shown in the video) but they also have a more square shape like the line miners if you want that, and both those shapes work in the same M4 frame, idk why they didnt mention it
smith needs to bring back fan option
which one of these goggles are most comparable to the uvex goggles? specifically the epic attract or evidnt attract?
thanks for the video, very useful. Quick question: are there any googles that you would recommend that will work for people who wear glasses?

are the anon m4 compatable with Giro ledge helmet
Can you make a review for that specific face mask from anon, I’m really curious about that vent?
Thank you 🙏🏻

Julbo make any good ones ?
They have a few solid offerings. Their Mountaineering glasses are top notch tho 👉 www.sportrx.com/shopby/brand-julbo.html 🔥
can you guys review the detour goggles
Need to get our hands on one of those!
What about Dragon ?
Why skip Glade Fathom +?!
This is a review for the best goggles. Not the best budget goggles.
@fvictor77 lol you call a $199 goggle "budget"?! What major malfunction has gotten into you?!
The question is which goggle has the most scratch resistant lens?
Zeal's scratch resistant hard coat is tough to beat. We put them to the test and nary a scratch was visible after repeated abuse. They hold up!

we'll see if we can get that in the pipeline for ya!
The 100 norgs are so cheap. How are they the best
What about Ruroc 🤔
Lol
Has anyone here tried the Electra 2 from Out of?
Gotta try that one!
Have you guys tried glade optics adapt 2?
We'll have to try that one out!
