Bela Shende is one of my favourite vocalists from India. Her voice is so powerful in any language that she sings. I am not even a Marathi speaker but her voice does something to you and forces you to dance to this timeless tune.

Totally western European dude here. Love this song to death for about 8 years now. Still don't understand didly squad (not entirely true, cos, if I'm not mistaken, apasara aali means, her comes the nymph) but no matter, sounds just fine to me. Great, almost divine (no I,m not religious) rythm, drums and harmonics. Total eargasm at 0:55.
I have to add, that I just found a translation on YT. Well, doesn't matter, sound just fine like it is and meant to be.

And the west is inclined to link them to just mythology and fiction which again is not accurate. Indian view point is different. Anyways thanks for your appreciation!
