    The only thing I would do different, is have them bonded by an electrician. They have been removed by the new owners.

    Now, the handrails come with metal expanding anchors ( split lead anchors)
    Also included is the hammer drill bit
    We have 2 sizes available now,
    1. Small rail( spa rail)
    2. Large rail (Pool rail )
    Both manufactured by Fibropool and sold by dropshippools

    If it hasn’t been noted already, one major safety note that he neglected to mention is that the rail must be electrically bonded to the existing pools bonding grid to prevent a shock hazard. Do your research or call a licensed electrician.

    • @tonym2881
      @tonym2881 2 года назад

      I wonder how you would even do that after the pool was built?

    • @Italian-Hillbilly
      @Italian-Hillbilly 2 года назад +1

      @@tonym2881 Most in ground pool rails have embedded anchor sleeves That are made to bond and can be retrofitted as well. Before doing anything you need to educate yourself or what actual pool bonding is because it’s not the same as grounding. I am not a electrician so I would highly recommend that if you have any questions to contact an expert and or a licensed electrician about bonding a pool. A pool can be bonded after the fact, but it can be very difficult and expensive. The question you have to ask yourself is is your family‘s life worth it.

    • @johnspence8141

      @@Italian-Hillbilly Or what is the probability of danger. For instance the danger here is that electricity is used to run your pumps etc., and that an electrical current could reach your pool, but this is often negated in modern PVC piping. If there is no electrical path between the source of electricity and the pool, it is very doubtful an electrical current will reach the people in it. In this case drilling a ladder into the pool concrete is very unlikely to lead to an issue. But OVERALL Yes, you want your system to shut down if there is a short or connection, and you should be familiar with your pool and bonding.

    • @daribbz8476

      That’s only if the rails are in the water. Water bonding for static shock is different than electrical bonding of pool equipment.

      once you drill you can attach a copper wire to the rail, then to the re-bar under the concrete, you might have to fish for it, then transient voltage has a place to go rather than a human -
