this was done on stream with some friends and patrons a while back. ( patreon.com/ThePortraitArt) You can probably tell early on I paused here and there and generally went slower as I'm discussing the drawing while doing it. Hope you guys liked the video.

This sketch went from a mess to pure gold real quick. Amazing.
There are so many good artists out there... But this video is one of my top-3-favourites !!! Two lessons, that I would notice for me as a bloody hobby-painter:
1st: Don't be frustrated if a work in progress real messed up or you think it will... it is possible, that you are still on the right way, but you don't SEE it... practising...practising more, thats why it has to be fun to get better
2nd: Take care oft the proportions at the very beginning, you can see it in this video, too: The right fix-points are soooo much important... it often happens to me, very effort with detail work... details look quite good for me ... after 2 hours, but there is a major fault in general proportions, that I missed in the working process... this is often not fixable, if you have to erase an complete eye in a nearly "finished" picture, the over-all-look will be completely destroyed... or not ? Perhaps it is more important to fix little mistakes during the process, like seen in the video ... I am not skilled enough for that ^^

I'm pretty sure the reason why you don't have more comments on your videos is because this is so unbelievably beautiful that people can't think of anything cool to say that can express their admiration so they feel dumb and in the end they don't say anything and just leave like that

oh, in real life hanging on the wall she is like one of those harry potter pieces, the hair waves in the wind and once a while she turns, wink and smile at you. That's why I can never sell it, it would freak people out too much.
