The draw of heaven is real - my husband yearned to be with Jesus - I came home from work and found him dead on the floor - we had been married 32 years - he was only 59 - he had a smile on his face and I knew, that he knew, he was going home and was happy - I gave him CPR and his last breath came out of him - I called the ambulance, drove to his parents house and got them, drove to the hospital - he was laying on a bed in the ER behind a curtain - as his mother and I walked towards him, I could see this glow all around him - his mother walked up to him and took his hand - I knew she couldn’t see the glow - I knew I wasn’t to touch him, so I left and went and got his dad to go in with him - as hard as it was on me, I knew in my heart he was with the Lord - you couldn’t ask for him to be in a better place
I am doing good - I have no doubt where my husband is and that is what matters - I know the Lord is taking care of me - from time to time He wraps his loving arms around me and holds me close, resting His chin on the top of my head - there is nothing like it than having Jesus arms wrapped around you to comfort you

Widowed 5 years ago after a 25 year covenant marriage to my Godly, Faithful husband Keith. We both graduated 🎓 from AGAPE BIBLE COLLEGE in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2005.Pastors Happy & Jeanne Caldwell! We also began Seminary right after Bible College and grad from there together in 2008. Keith was dx stage 4 colorectal cancer in June, 2014, given 9 months to live. Keith " fought the good fight of faith" and we confessed healing over him and Keith made it 3 1/2 years! MIRACLE!! Keith was only 55 when he graduated to heaven, and I was only 51. We have adult children ages 38, 35, 30, 27, and 22. The youngest three watched their Dad's entire cancer journey and I was his 24/7 caregiver. The youngest were 22, 18, and 14 when their Dad passed. One daughter, Ashelyn and one son, Caleb have been really angry with Jesus about their Dad dying.We live in Arkansas. Please pray for me as a widow, and kids Carson, Caleb, and Ashelyn.
My husband, Ron, just passed 2 days ago (the day before our 35th wedding anniversary), and the Lord must have supernaturally directed me to this program. It helped me so much. I was feeling a lot of guilt , and just like Joni and Sharon said, I really expected Ron to come back. I had seen him making miraculous progress for the 3 days after his heart attack, leading up to the time he died. I felt so confident that I had gone home for a while, and by the time I rushed back they had stopped trying to revive him. Both my husband and little boy passed on years ago within four years of each other. Never could grieve over them properly. Had to be strong for my husband and little girl's sake. I lost my husband of 30 years just over a week ago. When you are truly one flesh, you feel the searing pain in your chest of that loss. I do. Yet I have peace knowing he is with the Lord. He was a month short of 70. I’m grateful that we both came to the Lord in our early marriage and learned to grow in Jesus together. We weathered many painful storms. My husband was solid. I thank God every day for the gift of this man in our lives. He helped put the broken pieces of our family together like no other person could have. God gave us all an amazing gift. I look forward to the rapture now. God bless all who suffer this kind of separation.
Wow! Sharon said a phrase, "giving out of your need that comes back into you". Several Pastors have spoken into my life (a life of sexual abuse) and have told me that because I was so broken, I could not be of help to others. I believe it has altered my life - because I believed that lie! A former Catholic Nun spoke into my life and said, "I see you as a tall broken vessel. Being broken isn't a problem because God has put you back together and it is through your brokenness that the light of Jesus shines!" I haven't been used out of my brokenness but I can see the light of Jesus shining through the Lambs' brokenness ... It is a pure light for the whole world to see! Isn't that what God's children desire - that the heart of Jesus be seen in us and not of ourselves! My Mom, Dad and brother are in Heaven and I understand the process of mourning, but it is amazing how God takes our mourning and then comes the morning where our breakthrough is released!

Yes, we are stewards of our earthly body. We will give account to God for what we do to help or harm it. I had an experience with my mom that emphasized this. She called me one day and said she wanted to quit smoking///again. She had been delivered from smoking when she got saved when I was about 13, i had been saved since I was 9 by praying with an evangelist on tv by myself. God heard me and was with me ever since, though I was a child, I loved God and prayed all the time. My dad was an alcoholic because he had undiagnosed PTSD from WWII, He was abusive when he drank but the nicest guy when he didn't which wasn't too often, So, I prayed that God would make him leave after he kept threatening to kill us and trying to break our necks, as children, I was always protecting my younger sister, who was four years y younger than me. He left shortly thereafter, and I was greatly relieved. When I was 13, I received the baptism of the H.S. and spoke in tongues and received the gifts of the Spirit as well., I grew up spiritually very fast, so to speak, and maybe that was God's plan for me to help my mother, who was not as spiritually minded. I think it had to do with my youth that I was always aware of God, but she did always try to seek out people to study the Bible with in every neighborhood we moved to, which were many, and perhaps that was the influence I needed to be able to do what I did that day when Oral Roberts or T.L, Osborne was on television and invited those who wanted to receive Christ to lay their hand on the t.v. set and pray after him. So, I did. I was ten years old and the eldest of my sisters. Well, we finally moved to another neighborhood shortly after he left and there, we found a family that moved in from Oklahoma, Spirit filled Christians that led us deeper into the Spirit and understanding of God. I was so happy, and received the baptism during that time. Well , as I said, my mom was delivered from smoking at that time she got saved. SHE began eating peanut butter and bread at night, while she read her Bible, which made her put on all kinds of weight. So, in discouragement, she went back to smoking, neither of which was good for her body. Finally in her older age, she called me one day and said she wanted to quit smoking. I had told her for years repeatedly that she should do so, along with my other sisters. So when her carotid artery was 90 percent blocked and she had to have surgery to open it up, she became very serious about the whole matter of what had caused it. Smoking! Actually, that was mild from what others have suffered as a result of using this drug called nicotine, which destroys the body. Now I had heard Marilyn Hickey preach on this a couple of times in the past and knew basically what had to happen in praying for someone. But the Holy Spirit told me that I was not to just pray for her, because until she made it an act of HER WILL, it would not hold. So He led me to have her renounce satan and repent for making an evil alliance with the devil to destroy her body. Now smoking is not the only thing that can destroy the body, as in the case of my dad, with his drinking. So this day, she prayed as I led her into the repentance prayer and renouncing satan. Then when had asked God to forgive her for her sin against her own body, I was able to take authority over the demon of nicotine, which is behind the cravings and the continued sin against the body. But nobody talks about that, and that is why there is not much success for those who are ignorant of the devices of satan. So always have someone lead the person bound into repentance first and renounce the demonic, the evil alliance with satan against themselves...first! I then took authority over this demon and commanded it to go. The Holy Spirit also led me to see that there was a spirit of whimpering that needed to go, too! So I rebuked that along the way and when I was done, she said that she had always woken up whimpering, like crying, which I did not know anything about. So I believe that was also a sign to her that Holy Spirit knew and recognized her prayer and deliverance was complete as a result. She never smoked again to my knowledge. It had taken years and my prayers that God open her eyes for her to be able to come to the place where she was WILLING, had to be HER WILL, to take that step and renounce Satan and the connection in the spiritual realm. Well, I hope this was not too long, but I do know that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman, availeth much! In her case, as in many that aren't willing yet to give up their 'pleasure' or what they are deceived into believing it is, like drinking, drugs, smoking, sexual desires that are extreme, etc., food, etc. We have to be willing because God will never override our will, even to bless us. We have to ask Him to help us and forgive us and do the work in our hearts that is needed to accomplish the deliverance. Amen

Yes we shed tears…but not allowing a “spirit of grief” to overtake us that is not from God. I heard Gloria Copeland say that years ago after my stillborn son went to heaven…timely word for my heart to not be swallowed up in grief. I still reminisce & shed tears over the years missing my son & other loved ones who passed into eternity….yet I rebuked/resisted that spirit of grief. It will not have me.🌺 Thankful for the Hope/promise of heaven & comfort of the Holy Spirit on earth. 💝 Praise God❤️
I attended Victory School of Worship from 2010-2012 & Victory Church through 2015, when I moved away. Pastor Sharon is GOLD. GOD BLESS HER. She was very kind to me & prayed for me on more than one occasion. I wish I would’ve had the blessed honor to meet Billy Joe. He was in Heaven before I arrived in Tulsa. Furthermore when they went off the Air for a while- I called them and said, why don't we see you Anymore? I didn't have internet, I didn't know what on line was and they weren't in the Colorado phone book. I didn't have a Tulsa phone book. She said, "We had to go off the Air because we can't afford to stay on, BUT WERE GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK ON BECAUSE... Pastor's keep calling. They need him ON because that's Where they get all their material from. Billy Joe had to get his money straight from God ...
Thank you so much for this message. 2002 I was visiting Billy Joe and Sharon’s church in Tulsa Oklahoma. It was the best most awesome church I have ever been in. Billy Joe did pray for me and I felt such a peace. He was truly a man of God. Unfortunately I had to go back to Sweden and was not able to stay in the US. But I do miss that congregation and hopefully one day to back there again.
Hope you can come back. I moved away from Tulsa a few years ago, but stay in touch with Victory and visit about once a month. They really discipled me as a new believer and I still miss them. But I believe GOD wants this kind of fellowship between His children everywhere and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what that means I am to do right here where I am! 🙂

I read Psalm 23 as my husband passed over into glory. He had a single tear in his eye when he went. 💝 He longed for Jesus. He kept saying....home, home. He saw Jesus, his wife before me, his daughter that was a miscarriage, his Mom and others in a vision the week before. He passed on 2.22.22.

For anyone who might be confused: Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation. God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift. Salvation is absolutely free. Rewards are worked for.
Good Article. People might wonder what is the point of all this preaching why are people always bothering us about the bible and what Jesus said. It is because 100,000s of thousands of people die everyday and most of them are probably not going to Heaven. Jesus said there is a narrow way and FEW people find it. When Jesus spoke to his people he said "little flock" because most people have not really taken the time to explore the bible to see what it takes for Jesus to take us into Heaven when we leave this earth. It is a very sad reality but Jesus is a fierce judge when we actually look at the bible. Like the bible says "Our God is a consuming fire". The bible says for everyone to work out their salvation and spend their time sojourning on earth in fear and trembling. The bible says be afflicted and mourn let you laughing be turned into morning and your joy to heaviness. Those who laugh now will mourn later because we will be humbled in this life or the next. The bible says humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and he will exalt you in due time. Like John Macarthur a great preacher says God gave an impossible message to unremarkable people. It's like Jesus said I have to hate my life, and give up all my desires to follow him or I will be punished for eternity? Thats pretty harsh. But it is because he is such a Holy God and no sin in life will go unpunished he payed for our sin but we have to received the gift of salvation to go to Heaven. How do we get this? That is a very complicated thing but the bible lays it out for us. And we can find the way to Jesus when he seek the truth and let the word cleanse our heart. Which is why Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me. I am the door and if anyone comes in any other way he is a thief and a robber. 0And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. In this verse the bible is speaking about those who received not the love of the truth. Those who wanted to live their own way. The bible always says the gospel message is foolish to those who are perishing. In the article below it talks about the importance of repentance. We must repent of sin and turn to God. We must repent from taking our own path and turn to God or our direction will not be good. Those who don't know Jesus will go to the same place as the worst of the worst. The father of Satanism on his dead bed was saying before he died what have I done what have I done something is very wrong something is very wrong. John Hagee speaks of visiting someone on his death bed who said preacher PRAY PRAY PRAY I can feel the flames of hell PRAY as he died. This is a very serious thing. The alternative is eternal punishment in the lake of fire. Whaling and knashing of teeth. The Holy Ghost will be our prosecutor and render us guilty as charged. Because the intent of Jesus was for us to live a live in submission to him and his word. Have you given much thought to your eternal destiny? Have you searched out the bible to really see what it is telling you. Do you give this as much of your attention as other things? But it shall be more tolerable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades. Luke 11:32 The men of Nineveh will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. And he said, "No, father Abraham; but if some one goes to them from the dead, they will repent." He said to him, "If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead." I conclude that repentance involves believing God (Jonah 3:5) rather than the Satan's claim that more joy can be found in sin than in obedience. It is a "being persuaded" about the danger of impenitence (Luke 16:31) and the way of escape through repentance for the forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47). It involves grief over past sins and present sinful tendencies. This is the significance of the sackcloth and ashes (Luke 10:13; Jonah 3:5). There’s an imbalance here ( Gods word tells us to be watchful about “ a false balance ….!” But a “ just weight is His delight !” There’s much to much women round this table and zero men. You ppl should rectify this as it looks too much like a woman’s club ! “Male and female made He them !”
The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). The draw of heaven is real - my husband yearned to be with Jesus - I came home from work and found him dead on the floor - we had been married 32 years - he was only 59 - he had a smile on his face and I knew, that he knew, he was going home and was happy - I gave him CPR and his last breath came out of him - I called the ambulance, drove to his parents house and got them, drove to the hospital - he was laying on a bed in the ER behind a curtain - as his mother and I walked towards him, I could see this glow all around him - his mother walked up to him and took his hand - I knew she couldn’t see the glow - I knew I wasn’t to touch him, so I left and went and got his dad to go in with him - as hard as it was on me, I knew in my heart he was with the Lord - you couldn’t ask for him to be in a better place

I am doing good - I have no doubt where my husband is and that is what matters - I know the Lord is taking care of me - from time to time He wraps his loving arms around me and holds me close, resting His chin on the top of my head - there is nothing like it than having Jesus arms wrapped around you to comfort you

Widowed 5 years ago after a 25 year covenant marriage to my Godly, Faithful husband Keith.
We both graduated 🎓 from AGAPE BIBLE COLLEGE in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2005.Pastors Happy & Jeanne Caldwell!
We also began Seminary right after Bible College and grad from there together in 2008.
Keith was dx stage 4 colorectal cancer in June, 2014, given 9 months to live.
Keith " fought the good fight of faith" and we confessed healing over him and Keith made it 3 1/2 years! MIRACLE!!
Keith was only 55 when he graduated to heaven, and I was only 51. We have adult children ages 38, 35, 30, 27, and 22.
The youngest three watched their Dad's entire cancer journey and I was his 24/7 caregiver. The youngest were 22, 18, and 14 when their Dad passed. One daughter, Ashelyn and one son, Caleb have been really angry with Jesus about their Dad dying.We live in Arkansas.
Please pray for me as a widow, and kids Carson, Caleb, and Ashelyn.

My husband, Ron, just passed 2 days ago (the day before our 35th wedding anniversary), and the Lord must have supernaturally directed me to this program. It helped me so much. I was feeling a lot of guilt , and just like Joni and Sharon said, I really expected Ron to come back. I had seen him making miraculous progress for the 3 days after his heart attack, leading up to the time he died. I felt so confident that I had gone home for a while, and by the time I rushed back they had stopped trying to revive him. It was very comforting knowing he is resting with Jesus, and I don't know why I'm still here, but pray I'll have the strength to have a bolder witness now more than ever, because I don't think it's very long till the Lord is coming for the rest of us...Laura A

I lost my husband of 30 years just over a week ago. When you are truly one flesh, you feel the searing pain in your chest of that loss. I do. Yet I have peace knowing he is with the Lord. He was a month short of 70. I’m grateful that we both came to the Lord in our early marriage and learned to grow in Jesus together. We weathered many painful storms. My husband was solid. I thank God every day for the gift of this man in our lives. He helped put the broken pieces of our family together like no other person could have. God gave us all an amazing gift. I look forward to the rapture now. God bless all who suffer this kind of separation.
Wow! Sharon said a phrase, "giving out of your need that comes back into you". Several Pastors have spoken into my life (a life of sexual abuse) and have told me that because I was so broken, I could not be of help to others. I believe it has altered my life - because I believed that lie! A former Catholic Nun spoke into my life and said, "I see you as a tall broken vessel. Being broken isn't a problem because God has put you back together and it is through your brokenness that the light of Jesus shines!" I haven't been used out of my brokenness but I can see the light of Jesus shining through the Lambs' brokenness ... It is a pure light for the whole world to see! Isn't that what God's children desire - that the heart of Jesus be seen in us and not of ourselves! My Mom, Dad and brother are in Heaven and I understand the process of mourning, but it is amazing how God takes our mourning and then comes the morning where our breakthrough is released!
I believe that's exactly where God wants to use us is out of the brokenness in our life. Believe the Nun for she is the one that is correct. Blessings to you 💕🙏💕

Yes, we are stewards of our earthly body. We will give account to God for what we do to help or harm it. I had an experience with my mom that emphasized this. She called me one day and said she wanted to quit smoking///again. She had been delivered from smoking when she got saved when I was about 13, i had been saved since I was 9 by praying with an evangelist on tv by myself. God heard me and was with me ever since, though I was a child, I loved God and prayed all the time. My dad was an alcoholic because he had undiagnosed PTSD from WWII, He was abusive when he drank but the nicest guy when he didn't which wasn't too often, So, I prayed that God would make him leave after he kept threatening to kill us and trying to break our necks, as children, I was always protecting my younger sister, who was four years y younger than me. He left shortly thereafter, and I was greatly relieved. When I was 13, I received the baptism of the H.S. and spoke in tongues and received the gifts of the Spirit as well., I grew up spiritually very fast, so to speak, and maybe that was God's plan for me to help my mother, who was not as spiritually minded. I think it had to do with my youth that I was always aware of God, but she did always try to seek out people to study the Bible with in every neighborhood we moved to, which were many, and perhaps that was the influence I needed to be able to do what I did that day when Oral Roberts or T.L, Osborne was on television and invited those who wanted to receive Christ to lay their hand on the t.v. set and pray after him. So, I did. I was ten years old and the eldest of my sisters.
Well, we finally moved to another neighborhood shortly after he left and there, we found a family that moved in from Oklahoma, Spirit filled Christians that led us deeper into the Spirit and understanding of God. I was so happy, and received the baptism during that time. Well , as I said, my mom was delivered from smoking at that time she got saved.
SHE began eating peanut butter and bread at night, while she read her Bible, which made her put on all kinds of weight. So, in discouragement, she went back to smoking, neither of which was good for her body.
Finally in her older age, she called me one day and said she wanted to quit smoking. I had told her for years repeatedly that she should do so, along with my other sisters. So when her carotid artery was 90 percent blocked and she had to have surgery to open it up, she became very serious about the whole matter of what had caused it. Smoking! Actually, that was mild from what others have suffered as a result of using this drug called nicotine, which destroys the body.
Now I had heard Marilyn Hickey preach on this a couple of times in the past and knew basically what had to happen in praying for someone. But the Holy Spirit told me that I was not to just pray for her, because until she made it an act of HER WILL, it would not hold. So He led me to have her renounce satan and repent for making an evil alliance with the devil to destroy her body. Now smoking is not the only thing that can destroy the body, as in the case of my dad, with his drinking. So this day, she prayed as I led her into the repentance prayer and renouncing satan. Then when had asked God to forgive her for her sin against her own body, I was able to take authority over the demon of nicotine, which is behind the cravings and the continued sin against the body. But nobody talks about that, and that is why there is not much success for those who are ignorant of the devices of satan. So always have someone lead the person bound into repentance first and renounce the demonic, the evil alliance with satan against themselves...first!
I then took authority over this demon and commanded it to go. The Holy Spirit also led me to see that there was a spirit of whimpering that needed to go, too! So I rebuked that along the way and when I was done, she said that she had always woken up whimpering, like crying, which I did not know anything about. So I believe that was also a sign to her that Holy Spirit knew and recognized her prayer and deliverance was complete as a result. She never smoked again to my knowledge. It had taken years and my prayers that God open her eyes for her to be able to come to the place where she was WILLING, had to be HER WILL, to take that step and renounce Satan and the connection in the spiritual realm.
Well, I hope this was not too long, but I do know that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman, availeth much! In her case, as in many that aren't willing yet to give up their 'pleasure' or what they are deceived into believing it is, like drinking, drugs, smoking, sexual desires that are extreme, etc., food, etc. We have to be willing because God will never override our will, even to bless us. We have to ask Him to help us and forgive us and do the work in our hearts that is needed to accomplish the deliverance. Amen

I heard Gloria Copeland say that years ago after my stillborn son went to heaven…timely word for my heart to not be swallowed up in grief.
I still reminisce & shed tears over the years missing my son & other loved ones who passed into eternity….yet I rebuked/resisted that spirit of grief. It will not have me.🌺 Thankful for the Hope/promise of heaven & comfort of the Holy Spirit on earth. 💝

I remember this. VERY WELL. IT WAS MONDAY, THANKSGIVING WAS THURSDAY. He wrote me many letters about things. He called me sister. He said let's talk about some things. He was very DEAR. Furthermore when they went off the Air for a while- I called them and said, why don't we see you Anymore? I didn't have internet, I didn't know what on line was and they weren't in the Colorado phone book. I didn't have a Tulsa phone book.
She said, "We had to go off the Air because we can't afford to stay on, BUT WERE GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK ON BECAUSE... Pastor's keep calling. They need him ON because that's Where they get all their material from. Billy Joe had to get his money straight from God ...

Thank you so much for this message. 2002 I was visiting Billy Joe and Sharon’s church in Tulsa Oklahoma. It was the best most awesome church I have ever been in. Billy Joe did pray for me and I felt such a peace. He was truly a man of God. Unfortunately I had to go back to Sweden and was not able to stay in the US. But I do miss that congregation and hopefully one day to back there again.
Hope you can come back. I moved away from Tulsa a few years ago, but stay in touch with Victory and visit about once a month. They really discipled me as a new believer and I still miss them. But I believe GOD wants this kind of fellowship between His children everywhere and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what that means I am to do right here where I am! 🙂

I remember when Billy Joe passed - I was so new in the faith and remember SO MANY people attending his very long memorial service. The only thing Kenneth Copeland said was HAVE FAITH IN GOD. I remember that often.

I read Psalm 23 as my husband passed over into glory. He had a single tear in his eye when he went. 💝 He longed for Jesus. He kept saying....home, home. He saw Jesus, his wife before me, his daughter that was a miscarriage, his Mom and others in a vision the week before. He passed on 2.22.22.

Jesus said in Mark 16:16, He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. What I observe from this quote from Jesus is two choices laid out before us.
Believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved, believe not the gospel of Jesus Christ and be damned. A saved be and a damned be, and which be we choose to be will be the be we be when we depart this life.
My heart is grieving for the many souls that have not a clue of what the Lord requires of us to do to be saved indeed. I am stressing to each and everyone of us, to let no man deceive you, “John 5:39-40” you and I have one soul, and we are heading back to eternity to give an account of the deeds done in our body’s, if we don’t get saved the only way that’s recorded on record in the Word of God to be saved “Acts 2:38-39” during the church age, so we can indeed be numbered among them “1st Peter 2:9-10,”which are sanctified, then forever our souls will be lost.
HERE IS THE MAIN THING OF THE MAIN THING WE MUST POSSESS IN OUR LIVES BEFORE DEPARTING THIS LIFE!
Be sure we read and follow the instructions concerning the fine print here. Our very souls is truly affected by it.

Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift.
Salvation is absolutely free.
Rewards are worked for.
Good Article. People might wonder what is the point of all this preaching why are people always bothering us about the bible and what Jesus said. It is because 100,000s of thousands of people die everyday and most of them are probably not going to Heaven. Jesus said there is a narrow way and FEW people find it. When Jesus spoke to his people he said "little flock" because most people have not really taken the time to explore the bible to see what it takes for Jesus to take us into Heaven when we leave this earth. It is a very sad reality but Jesus is a fierce judge when we actually look at the bible. Like the bible says "Our God is a consuming fire". The bible says for everyone to work out their salvation and spend their time sojourning on earth in fear and trembling. The bible says be afflicted and mourn let you laughing be turned into morning and your joy to heaviness. Those who laugh now will mourn later because we will be humbled in this life or the next. The bible says humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and he will exalt you in due time. Like John Macarthur a great preacher says God gave an impossible message to unremarkable people. It's like Jesus said I have to hate my life, and give up all my desires to follow him or I will be punished for eternity? Thats pretty harsh. But it is because he is such a Holy God and no sin in life will go unpunished he payed for our sin but we have to received the gift of salvation to go to Heaven. How do we get this? That is a very complicated thing but the bible lays it out for us. And we can find the way to Jesus when he seek the truth and let the word cleanse our heart. Which is why Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me. I am the door and if anyone comes in any other way he is a thief and a robber. 0And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
In this verse the bible is speaking about those who received not the love of the truth. Those who wanted to live their own way. The bible always says the gospel message is foolish to those who are perishing. In the article below it talks about the importance of repentance. We must repent of sin and turn to God. We must repent from taking our own path and turn to God or our direction will not be good. Those who don't know Jesus will go to the same place as the worst of the worst. The father of Satanism on his dead bed was saying before he died what have I done what have I done something is very wrong something is very wrong. John Hagee speaks of visiting someone on his death bed who said preacher PRAY PRAY PRAY I can feel the flames of hell PRAY as he died. This is a very serious thing. The alternative is eternal punishment in the lake of fire. Whaling and knashing of teeth. The Holy Ghost will be our prosecutor and render us guilty as charged. Because the intent of Jesus was for us to live a live in submission to him and his word.
Have you given much thought to your eternal destiny? Have you searched out the bible to really see what it is telling you. Do you give this as much of your attention as other things?
There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” This quote is saying no matter who you are unless you repent and turn from your way you will perish

After his death the unrepentant rich man is in torment. He asks Abraham to send someone to warn his brothers, so they don't perish in this place of torment. But . . .

I conclude that repentance involves believing God (Jonah 3:5) rather than the Satan's claim that more joy can be found in sin than in obedience. It is a "being persuaded" about the danger of impenitence (Luke 16:31) and the way of escape through repentance for the forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47). It involves grief over past sins and present sinful tendencies. This is the significance of the sackcloth and ashes (Luke 10:13; Jonah 3:5). And it involves turning from evil ways (Jonah 3:8).

The Gospel:
Plain and
Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes And let me tell you why!
