I thought it was an angel/spirit guide, but I guess it was God himself. I was 7 years of age when my mother and I were in a car accident. Moments before the accident, I was awaken by an authoritative voice that said, "(My Name), put on your seatbelt NOW!!" I looked at my mom and told her that I was going to put my seatbelt on, and she said she would, as well.

I love hearing JPJ. Literally I listen to everything he creates as if he's still alive. I but his courses and now his books and I'm shocked how far away we are from what God wants us to be originally. Anyways I loved that Joni had him on this show so often. Its the only episodes I watch on repeat. However the first scripture JPJ was referring to was actually 1 Corinthians 14:31 not Ephesians

Yes, very true! In the video though, John Paul is saying the gift isn't receiving the revelation. Instead, the gift is the ability to receive that revelation (the prophetically gifted persons' "satellite dish"). Their calling and gift would still be intact even if God did not grant them any revelation for a season... or until repentance perhaps.

I'm enjoying this video but around the 19-20 minute mark I was immediately prompted of a scripture and wanted to ask...
Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
Doesn't that mean God will not remove your gifts? Maybe instead of God removing the gift, "we" turn our satellite dish away from the signal God is sending?
I'm just putting this out there as a question for others to comment on.
