Hi 👋 Thanks for watching this video! What do you think of this type of video? Do you like it and enjoy it? Let me know what kind of watch videos you’d like to see us do next! ✌🏻
Excellent review. I have one in black, and it is one of my favorite watches. As Andy Warhol said: “I don’t wear a Tank watch to tell the time. Actually I never even wind it. I wear a Tank because it is the watch to wear!”
To solve the problem of the deployment band being to large for women’s wrist just reverse the band by placing the left side on the right and the right side on the left. The “C” logo will read upside down but the fit will be perfect.
Hi, yes it is the Mont Blanc starwalker indeed. 😀. Honestly I really do like the cartier santos ballpoint pen as well. Don’t think you can go wrong with either pen!
Thanks for the video, but I disagree. The small seconds dial and date window ruin the classic Cartier look. If I wanted complications and a manufacture calibre, I'd get a JLC, and I'd certainly wear the Tank Must over this, any day.
I think they did take a risk and chance on making the small seconds dial vs the usual design style. I honestly really do like the small seconds, and I love the execution on the date window. In normal long term wear it disappears when you’re not looking for the date.
Cartier does not put the real stone enbosted into their crowns, but only in their st. steel models. The real sapphire stones are being only in their: yellow, rose, white gold or platinum watches. One more thing is that on this model it is not the cabochon(rounded), but the the faceted(pure cut) sapphire stone.
Thanks very much for the information! And thank you for the kind correction. I believe the stone here is not actually really sapphire as it is a stainless steel model.
lol cartier tank must is way more 'Cartier' and classy than this bulky tank. Too huge for a tank. Should go for Santos at this size. Reason why Cartier discontinued this model is pretty obvious- poor sales. Recommend you to sell this and buy the Tank Must instead hahaha
That’s true! It draws more from their heritage from being almost a 1 to 1 reproduction on the must from 1970s. I do believe though that this Tank MC is special in its own way, though now discontinued (they do it for a lot of their catalogue over the years, not necessarily cause it doesn’t sell well). Many Cartier watches that are discontinued have been rising in price and also popularity amongst collectors, and I believe this will be one such in the future.
I Never knew about this variation. It has way bigger Balls than that other Fruity Overrated flat version. It also shows the inner workings which is always fascinating to gaze at once in a while. It seems to wrap the wrist way nicer than that Flat other version. Not even a comparison in any aspect. Too bad it's discontinued. I searched, and there are only used Smelly, Stinky and refurbished examples for sale from God knows where...and alot of money too!

Thanks for the compliment! Yes the black one is actually quite a stunner, I suppose it does make it wear a little smaller? Great choice!
Excellent in depth review! Looks amazing and love the unique small seconds incorporated into the beautiful textured dial.
Thank you very much! Your encouragement and comment really helps us create more content like this! Let me know what you want to see next.
Nothing beats the elegant simplicity of the Tank Must large, IMHO.
It does look nice - it is a classic design after all.
great suggestion. I was looking at the must but this is so much more interesting
Thanks for sharing! It helps that you can see the in house movement which is nicely decorated when you flip the watch around…
I like everything about this Cartier, except for the huge seconds compication. Still is a beautiful watch, though.

Thanks for the tip! Didn’t think about suggesting this before. It could also apply to small wrists too. I suppose that’s not ideal but it works…
Perfect solution for small wrists
I see the Starwalker pen would you recommend the meisterstuck or the Cartier santos ballpoint pen?

this is the first time i hear someone saying the year like this. two zero one three
😚
Man what a handsome watch
Though I think it would have been better if the seconds dial didn’t show numbers
it's beautiful but it's not iconic IMO as the TM.. I still prefer the look & simplicity of the TM
New Tank looks better.
Wrist size?
I have a 6 inch wrist size
Nahhh, way too many complications on the dial. The tank is iconic bcz of its simplistic design.
