Can also heat one tire for 1 minute in the microwave at full power. Works like a champ.
Using metal saw is good to cut old tire. When you have sawed a bit just put a screw driver under the tire to bend it up so you do not saw in the rim.
Good ideas! I actually tried to pry one of the tires of and bent the rim! Oops! I could get it back into shape with a small hammer. So cutting the tire is the way to do it, it was kind of heavy with a knife so a saw as you say is probably much better. Regards Nils
Tack!
Dude, I have just been refurbishing two trusty Klippo Excellent S models .. going to change the tyres now (also using boiling water as suggested by the retailer, where I got the parts). With spanking new wires and tyres, they're both set for 20 more years of service; couldn't imagine using anything but Klippo.
They are high quality mowers BUT I don’t consider the cutting quality to be so high. At least not on my lawn where I have high and think grass. If I mowed more often the quality would probably be better. I will do a comparison between my Stiga Pro walk behind mower (that I think cuts better) and this mover later this summer. Regards Nils
@@NilsKall Don't forget to keep the knives sharp at all times - mine are razor sharp and cuts quite nice. Are you saying your Klippo doesn't cut the grass nicely? The Excellent S model uses a dual blade system which should mulch pretty good.
Anders Borum it has really sharp knives with the double blade design but I don’t think it cuts so well anyway. Its not just this klippo, I have had other klippos before and I am impressed by their build quality but not the cut quality. But as I said my lawn is not suited for mulching and I cut to sporadically to use that way of cut. However the Stiga cuts better under the same circumstances.
@@NilsKall Would be interesting to compare the blades then - please keep us posted.
Nice mower... Im taking a part in an auction selling some Klippo Pro19. Will see how that auction goes, but my Stiga is starting to loose its wheels for the second time during the years of home use.
Ahh Stiga walk behind mowers…some are great and some are not…..But they mulch great!
How did you get the wheel of is what i wonder..... i cannot get it of.
I started by tapping the wheel with a mallet as you can see in the beginning but it wouldn’t come off. So I soaked the axle in rust penetrating oil and did some other work and when I returned to the wheel a bit later I could just tap on the inside of the rim and get it off.
Hey Nils. Great video. Could you please tell me where to buy the Klippo sticker? Thanks
Thanks! www.maskinklippet.se download the part number from klippos homepage and search for it at maskinklippet. It was cheap
I have the same problem with the same screw in klippo. :-)
It was annoying!
If have some kind of klippo mower. One wheel drives fine but the other one slips inside the rim. Should i glue them.
Hi, i think you should change that tire, they are cheap.
@@NilsKall is the wheel two piece (two sides connect together) or single piece
@@dkdanis1340 I don’t have this mower any more but if I remember correctly it is a single piece rim.
@@dkdanis1340 if you go to 11:34 you can see how it is made.
The number of belt please? Thnx

17:26 why not add some RUNES to your "totemic" stone ??
Like Nils was here but with runes

Yup.. just like KILROY WAS HERE !!
Does Svenska have a minimum hourly wage ??
Yeah and it’s quite high but it depends on the job. We also have very high subsidiaries and it is not advantageous for some to work (when it comes to money, I believe that earning your own money gives you meaning and character)
@@NilsKall
Let's do a calculation... a real WHAT THE SEK ?? how many SEKS did you get for Klippo vs how many hours did you work (also made in sweden parts)
Stephen Mortimer oh, I won’t quit my day job for fixing lawnmowers.....but I made some money on it, probably a dollar/hour...😂
Stephen Mortimer made about 50$ on it, bought for 200$, parts for 50$ and sold for 300$. The fun and experience I got? Priceless.....

Is your Precious really so GULLIBLE as to accept this as logical ??
KLIPPO... makes me think of a swedish muslim circumcision guy
Hahaha, you funny guy! It is (was) a proud Swedish manufacturer that was bought by Husqvarna and moved its production to Poland. This one is a bit older (2009) and was made in Sweden. Its the kind of mower that you can leave to your children when you die like a heirloom , much like your old lawnboy mower with magnesium deck.
