Salmond was rubbing his hands in glee because he saw a way for him. He was winding the monkey Ash Regan to get her in coalition. It was all he wanted. Never thought about 55% who say Naw
It's not that complicated, all SNP leaders, including Salmond, consistently self-harmed Scotland and blamed Westminster, in order to make the case that independence was the solution. The Green alliance - ostensibly to acquire a domestic voting majority - then resulted in side-tracking to pointless, minority group policies and inept legislation while the wheels came off in all the major portfolios. The ferry fiasco alone saw tens of millions diverted from key issues which that money could have markedly improved, but the SNP couldn't let that project fail. I write that with affection and with a good deal of sympathy for the wider cause.
Eck and the Alba group are yesterdays news. Likened to Abba. " Money, Money, Money ".
Something fishy about your comment. Go check.🤔😂
The way forward is to fix things Holyrood holds the purse strings for. Like education, the health service, utilities and transport. Having shown the rest of the union the way it should be done (as Scotland once did), votes would inevitably follow. Did Humza even mention his record on those?
Yousaf ultimately took his example from Sturgeon and opted for the coward's way out, both on the Green alliance and the VONC.
The SNP having capsized and sunk, now needs a new skipper to steer it in its rather ignominious new - and inevitable - direction!
Alapa? Maybe Humza should join you 😂
Ending the commitment to Net Zero was the right move, If he was a compliant leader he would have explained why it was necessary.
He was taken down and silenced by the Greens. We've been trying to warn you, these people are willing to consume Kale, anyone willing to be that vindictive towards themselves will sacrifice you in a heartbeat
i remember the day Yousaf was made leader one of his colleagues was asked what he would be like and the first thing she said was he will be great, and he's BAME. At that moment I realised the uber woke SNP had chosen a leader not on experience merit or talent but pigmentation and religious beliefs.
Ash Regan is a lame duck MSP completely unelected. she has completely no self respect if she did she would resign and let her voters decide if the want to keep her.
Salmond will push a particularly large sausage roll in his mouth today to celebrate.
Alex Salmond should be investigated for his part in allowing Donald Trump to buy and develop a Golf Course on land which should have been a protected natural habitat.
This comment gets the hardest agree from me in the history of social media.
Trump demanded the mobile dune system be destroyed in exchange for investing £1 Billion. Once it was destroyed he invested £130million and created 34 jobs.
Things have just got worse for the SNP. Not only has John Swinney, the most boring man on planet Earth, thrown his hat in the ring Kate Forbes, a member of the Scottish Free Church (read religious fanatic) has announced her holy candidature. Unless Stephen Flynn declares he is standing I am done with the party altogether as I suspect many other Scots will be.
Aye c'mon Stephen! Swinney can maybe ride things over for a while whilst Stephen prepares? Humza was always a transitional leader, but he's failed even that

No point debating with you as I can tell a genius when I hear one 😉
White White White White.
Working from the backbenches - Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf......
Jabba the Hut clinging on to his old, tired delusions, as ever.
Put the pencil down, flippen heck man 😂
Salmond = 🐍
Having to deal with English media as Scotland has none of its own.
Huzma was a devo leader and not interested in independence. The guiding principle of snp must be independence. Without it they are lost.
AS LONG AS SALMOND DOES NOT THINK HE IS GOING TO WALK IN THROUGH THE BACKDOOR, THE GOOD PEOPLE OF SCOTLAND HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOUR MISDEMEANOURS OF THE PAST.
So Jocks Independence means being ruled from the EU,
Alapa? You mean Alba?
AS another bent politician wishing HY good luck in the future no better than NS... Crooks the lot of them IMO... Tony cuenca
If SNP win this election, the other parties might as well just quit Scotland 😂
