Lancaster Township FD working bus fire December 29, 2020

LTFD responded to an engine compartment fire in an RRTA bus on Bean Hill Road and Wabank Road on December 29, 2020. A fuel leak ignited the engine compartment, and also created a hazardous condition on the roadway for a few blocks on the buses route of travel before it caught fire. Fire was quickly extinguished and the LTFD and the Lancaster County Haz-Mat team controlled the large spill of diesel fuel that was about to enter a stream near the scene of the fire.
