When traveling out of my own country, I put my phone onto airplane mode. With airplane mode on, the rest of the phone barely uses any power at all. I then just switch out of airplane mode when I want to check any texts, emails, or missed calls--every 1-2 hours.

Dude I love this phone but the battery is lacking. I'll use some of these so thank you for that. I watched this on my fold 4 by the way haha. I do regret removing the stock folding screen screen protector. The one I have now, when the phone is cold, the crease section pulls up off the phone and I have to press is down again. When it's warm I have no issues.
thank you for sharing these. after getting my z flip 4, I noticed that it drains the battery quite fast whenever I use data. so if I can't do anything about it since it is using a specific service, at least I can save battery on other factors that is on the video

I always have my phone on Dark mode and Eye shield. It helps with my eyes as well as my battery life and I think it looks better anyway! Thank you for these tips, just got my new ZFlip4 recently and this video helps a lot.

I have very little complaint with the ZFlip4. I thought that the smaller battery (as compared to my previous phone - not a ZFlip, but bigger than the previous ZFlip3) would be an issue... but since I can do most of my responding to folks (text, messenger, receive/make calls) while the phone is closed - thus only using the smaller outer screen - I can get three days out of this thing. Haven't seen that kind of battery life in a LONG time.
There’s also coverscreen OS that can make this phone easily last more than 3 days. Way out of the ordinary person’s needs, but if you need a lot more performance and battery, this is another thing you might be able to do.
Dont limit your zflips charging to 80-85%. The folding screen will break eventually sooner than the battery, dont sacrifice convenience over battery health. Battery replacement is cheaper than the folding screen btw.
I don't know if it's been mentioned or not but in order to use the turn on Wi-Fi automatically you have to have Wi-Fi scanning turn on in order to use it if you turn it off for battery purposes you won't be able to use the turn on Wi-Fi automatically
Weird my manu is limited to yours I only see three options auto optimise, restart and adaptive nothing else Plus when I click on auto restart I don't have the options to choose the day and time do you know why
The camera cutout method doesn't work on my Fold4's cover screen with RUclips nor browsers nor Prime video app. I can apply the setting but ses like doesn't work. Should it ?
How did you get 1 day 22hrs on your battery? I recently got my flip4 and its been 4 days and its telling me I have 11hrs 15mins left? I've mostly followed your tips and I not getting any where near your setting.
Yeah what am I doing wrong? It is the sole reason I got this phone because your battery stat is amazing! Holy Moly!! I couldn't even get my Note 10+ for 1day and that has a bigger battery and it lasted for 18hrs each day

i know im late to this video, but just wanted to gauge the information about one of the tips. at tip 16, you talk about the screen timeout being good to be at 15 seconds. wouldnt the constant on and off of the screen drain the battery more than actually save? wouldnt keeping the screen on longer be better cause its not constantly switching on and off?
U. S. Carriers are blocking the ability to turn off 5g or choose network type. Here is the work around below. -Go to play store or your app store -Download app "Samsung band selection" -Click more network settings -Click your carrier default (mine is AT&T) -Scroll down to preferred network type. I put mine on LTE (4g) Your welcome
I’m not sure why anyone would want Always on Display. If you’re that locked to your phone. Might need to re-examine your life. Is it so hard tapping one button. Plus AOD can’t help the longevity of your battery regardless
My fold four after one week out of the box last all day. Samsung's algorithms have figured out my usage and a heavy user. Almost as good as my 13 pro max!!!
Correct. This is one of the most important tips to save battery. But also useful when you have bad connection or no connectin, for instance in your cellar. I personally deactivate it when being in public networks.
Well hopefully I can weasel more than 11 hours out of my flip now. My S21 had great battery life compared to this thing, and like I like the phone the not being able to make it through a work day without having to charge it is killing me slowly.

I think the battery drains faster that way because it has to boot into the os everytime, I would check that.

I think it would be a rare case that it would use more power...but not out of the realms of possibility...Good point

They might do that due to network coverage. Maybe if they let you adjust the settings, it might stop them be able to provide the service.

That probably means your network provider relies in Wi-Fi calling to provide the service. Because of that they won’t let you switch it off
