    Good job, guys. A smart mod for both added safety and extended tread life. When you only have two contact patches, you best take care of them!

      Yeah, it is so nice to have the ability to check pressure so quickly and then be able to make adjustments that might be out off because checking "the old way" can be a pain sometimes. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for watching it seems to be working as expected in the couple days that we have rode. Hoping it helps the life of the tires too. Ride safe!!!

    Great thing to have on your bike. I had something similar on my other street glide. Fortunately my new bike has an integrated system. Ride safe

    These are great. I have put about a 1000miles on them. A real benefit if you have bad knees or back. Also it will alert you while your riding which is a great safety feature. One thing some others have said is that your supposed to have metal stems. But I can’t find one negative comment about them not working properly even down south. There is a wheel balancing video about them but it was on a race bike. They added some minimal weights. Stay safe!

      Thanks for watching and they are a great added feature for sure. Ride safe!!!

    I have the FOBO. I don’t remember if it is the 2 or not. I just had to change the batteries. It does give an alarm when the pressure goes up. I get an alarm from high pressure all the time.

    • @RiverBluffBaggers
      @RiverBluffBaggers  2 года назад

      Yes I have noticed that they heat up and create alot more pressure as you ride it. I have now set the high pressure on the rear at 47 but start out at 42. thanks for watching and ride safe!!!

    What is the name of the air compressor you used?

    How heavy are they? I was wondering if it would cause balance issues with static balanced tires. I go through 2 rears and 1 front a season on my Buell and change them myself so I got some Counteract balance beads to try those out. Read mixed reviews but I like them. Not having weights on painted wheels is a plus as well. I think I'm going to give these monitors a try. I really like the tire temp feature. Can you change the pic of the bike on the app? If not I bet you guys love having a sport bike on there. 😉

      Don't know what they weigh but not that heavy at all. Yes you can take a picture of your bike and add it. Really like all the info you get from them, starting temp and pressure, to riding temps and pressure. You'll be surprised at how much they change. ride safe!!!

    That's something I am interested in. Couple questions I have is how long do the batteries last? How much do the batteries cost? I do agree tires are not cheap. I had a front and rear put on at same time last year and it cost me $795.

      @RiverBluffBaggers  2 года назад +1

      Well Jerry just replaced his this year so I'm guessing they last about 2 years. I'm not sure if his came with an extra battery or not. The one I got came with an extra battery so I'm hoping it last at least 2 years. There is alot of different kinds on the market but this one works really good. Most others come with a separate monitor you have to mount, this goes to your phone thanks for watching and ride safe!!!

    How's that little compressor holding up? Haven't found a reference to it in your playlist, what's the name of it? Thanks! Ordered the FOBO 2 thru your amazon link, on sale for $89. How long do the batteries last? I had to change the batteries in the FOBO 1 about every 6 weeks, more in the winter.

    • @RiverBluffBaggers
      @RiverBluffBaggers  Год назад +1

      I can't give you the exact length of time for battery life, but I do know that I changed mine quite awhile after I installed them. A lot longer than six weeks, though. And the little compressor was a gift from a friend, so not sure the exact name or model. It's come in handy on a couple of occasions and is working good. I know there are several on Amazon that are very similar and have decent reviews. Sorry not full of much exact information. 😬 Thank you for watching!

      The compressor appears to be smaller than most I've seen, I think that's what caught my eye. I'll revisit Amazon. Thanks for the response and the videos! @@RiverBluffBaggers

    My mechanic charged me $60 for blinker fluid on my Jeep. Said I had a leak. Guess I'll have to find something like that for monitoring my levels. 🤪😁
