Im always surprised by the amount of room you have inside a sailing yacht. Great interior , very clever with the multi option layouts. Thank you Nick for taking us on a tour of her
Thanks for the tour Nick. Imagine you are young, lucky enough to have some money and you go on tour round the world with a couple of friends in style and comfort. A dream coming through.
I remember touring a boat show back in the 90’s. I’m always blown away with what they’re doing with the same size hulls today. Thanks for another great tour Nick
Thanks for the detailed review! I always appreciate how thorough and comprehensive your videos are, especially when it comes to comfort and internal configurations. It would be great, though, to hear more about the external features and sailing experience-like the deck area, BBQ, and what it's like to sail the Oceanis 51.1. Those aspects are really important for those of us who plan to take the boat beyond the marina. Thanks again for the great content!
A nice boat seems at first very plain, but the light wood colour makes her cabin light, airy and stylish. She looks very safe and comfortable. A real Lady of the Sea. Like her
I sure like these Beneteau salboats, this one looks very much like the Oceanis 46.1 with just a smidge more room, plus the option for a 5th cabin if you need that.
It must be a challenge to design something revolutionary when it comes to boat designs. I’ve seen many of your videos regarding sailboats and they pretty much look the same. This one is beautiful nevertheless. I appreciate your channel and the hard work you put into the videos. Much success!
Great Wave, Nick - Almost a drive-by Wave! I do like the layouts of sailing yacht interiors. It's almost a shame that you don't really find it on motor yachts...
It's amazing. A lot of hate online from cruising puritans on Beneteau and Jesanneau (Jeanneau is essentially an inhouse design studio and brand of Beneteau), but the fact is, that boats of this brand has done more Atlantic crossings, than probably boats of any other brand at all. Most likely also most circumnavigations. You get, what you pay for: An Oyster, Amel or Hallberg-Rassy and so fort for sure offer more luxury and better materials all over, but they also cost the double or more in price. These are good boats for the pricepoint and delivers so much accommodation.
Hi nick, And thank you for this very nice show of this Beneteau Oceanis 51 1. That is a little while ago to see a sailboat on your channel but when you com with its a beautiful one this Beneteau and i like this one with the 3 cabine layout with 2 heads every time i am surprised what a space there is onboard great Thanks again Nick this looks great ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That’s an amazing boat. The only thing I would change would be Dutch the diesel motor for an electric one and have generator instead with some options for add on solar panels.
I must admit the Oceanis range continues to amaze me, great Tour Nick though tbh, for me, I like the Oceanis Range under 50 footbinlength. If I was into 50 feet and over, and able to afford it of course, I'd be really torn between this and the Iceanis 60 tbh. the sweet spot slot for me though is something about 45 ft OAL and I may go for a secondhand Beneteau as a ride me over Sailboat to get back k Afloat with prior to ordering a new Island Packet IP 439 - being Disabled, almost all of the things I need are on the standard IP Construction Options List at no extra Cost which incredibly works out a lot cheaper than modifying with a retro fit. Thanks Nick, another great boat tour, and I'll have to get in touch with Ancasta once there's enough in the Piggybank for a secondhand Sailboat that may be on their books at the time. Best Wishes. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️❤️
Nice boat and interesting lay-out choices . . . Thats the second new pair ive seen watching yr videos , . And by the looks ,the same style. . . Creature of habit are we ?? 😀😀 . . . Another great reaction . . . Take care 🇳🇿🇳🇿
Looking online the displacement seems quite light compared to other boats of similar dimensions. Is this intended as a bluewater boat, or is it a coastal cruiser? Also, I think for a boat this size, I'd prefer a center cockpit with a single large aft cabin, but besides that, she looks pretty well-proportioned.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but for what she is she's a mighty fine lady but just for me I'd need bigger engines and less canvas 😂🤣😂 still I can appreciate when something is good just because I can't sail doesn't mean I have to not like something, like I said a Fine Lady. Keep them coming Mr Burnham sir, all the best from Cornwall 🤗👌👍
Not especially, but in any case, you don't tend to sit inside these things whilst they're underway unless it's a really long voyage, in which case you'd likely be under sail.
I do not like sailing boats, because it means a lot of work when i can also enjoy the burning smell of petrol in the morning, while enjoying my first beer. However, i always appreciate a Nick Review (TM) (C) This is a nice yacht though.
Nice tour, but cannot see if the mast is a keel stepped, or just a deck step with cabin/keel support. Either way, hasn't changed my opinion about Beneteau - great place for weekend "casual encounters" out on the Med, but not a world cruiser.
On my boat (which has exactly this) I use a very thin duvet for the base and put a duvet cover on it, and then a thicker duvet for the top. Seems to work well.
Hello Nick! Do you know any NEW trawler that costs less than 1 million dollars with more than 2,500 NM range? Its because i want to go from USA to HAWAII with a boat. Thanks i would appreciate if you could respond to my question 🙋 😅.
Watched a RUclips about a benetau shedding its keel bolts last night..four guy s lost, never recovered... apparently not an unusual issue with them..may have been older model.. certainly bolts looks rusted..those on the vid looked polished stainless.... maybe they did then??...
Just got home Nick 23.02 here . Bit drunk 🎉 Love you Nick . Your a Trail Blazer . The rest just trail the Blazer 😅😅
You're very kind. Cheers! 🍻

You're very welcome! 🙂
Sailing yachts because they sit low in the water they can be quite wide for their size and that creates so much space inside.
Thanks for the tour Nick. Imagine you are young, lucky enough to have some money and you go on tour round the world with a couple of friends in style and comfort. A dream coming through.

This is a great line of boats Beneteau make
Sailing yachts are not my cup of tea but I do like the interiors on them, they are always stunning and spacious. Great tour Nick thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice sailing yacht Nick. So bright and spacious! Thanks for the tour
Thanks for watching!
What a clever design and a stunning yacht. Very impressive.
That's a nice boat. Great to tag along with you on this chilly morning!

that wave in the mirror. sometimes it's obvious, sometimes very subtle. love the tours. thank you.
You are so welcome! 🙂
That is a beautiful boat. There is something about a sailing yacht that just appeals to me.
Love the sailboat tours
I like the interior.
It's nice to see lots of windows in a sailboat.
Always love your videos! Can tell how much you really appreciate the boats. Cheers from Canada!
Thank you very much!
You get boats and you get yachts, this is a really nice yacht.
I sure like these Beneteau salboats, this one looks very much like the Oceanis 46.1 with just a smidge more room, plus the option for a 5th cabin if you need that.
What a great boat, good layout, comfortable and great to sail. Good tour as always.
Many thanks!
Sailing boats is the real sailing nothing beat using the winds and go with the nature to cross the ocean
Yayy! My Bene 40’s big brother! Thanks for the great tour!!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

Surprised you didn't mention the Dock and Go facility. It makes manoeuvring a 50 Yacht a lot easier. Love a Beneteau.
Excellent yacht with so many layouts for different needs. Great video again. 🇦🇺 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Very nice like all the different layout options nick
Great review Nick, as always.
Another wonderful looking yacht, with options to suit all. Impressive bit of kit!!
Enjoy your weekend 🥶
Thanks, you too!
Just looked at your excellent Tour of the Oceanis 46.1 and that's the one right up my street. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️❤️
What a great boat, a real home from home.
I really enjoy seeing these sailboats. It is amazing what they can squeeze into the hulls these days.
Great Wave, Nick - Almost a drive-by Wave!

Very nice ! Love the fact that it's not complicated sailing ! Thank you Nick !
My pleasure!
Thanks Bob. 😊
Thanks Nick! 😊
My pleasure!
Wow I just looked at the price lol what a steal!!!!!!!
Nice sailboat tour, thanks👍. The sound was excellent, the full size mirrors on the saloon bulkheads were a bit disorienting.
Better late than never right?❤🇿🇼
I hope we will see you checking out boats here in Thailand one day😃
Spectacular

What a handsome boat. I only wish I knew how to sail...

Thank you, wilco!
I would spend a day on her. But I dint think I would make a very good sailor. Thank you Nick.
Always a pleasure Debbie. 🙂
VERY nice!
Lovely yacht! Which boat show is this?
South Coast Boat Show, UK
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks!
thank you for the video
You're welcome 🙂
Could the aft owners cabin design be made with combining the two?
I have always wondered, how noisy is it in the cabin with the engine running?

It would be nice to see one in action and how it’s handled
Agreed! I should go sailing next year... 😃
Fat and spacious, but also with great details 😀Lovely sailing yacht tour 🙂
Sailing are better. What with Hanse 675 or oyster 745? It is possible to see this yachts?
Very nice video but even nicer top gun chronograph
Thank you!
I still have no idea how to change the sheets on those wall to wall beds 😊
On my boat (which has exactly this) I use a very thin duvet for the base and put a duvet cover on it, and then a thicker duvet for the top. Seems to work well.
Nice
Not a fan of the interior color or layout. Do these sell well?

Not off the top of my head.
Thanks! I will keep searching for some trawlers.

At least full hd 60fps video recording please
Gonna just skip the dual helm explanation this time
And with sails, you can always get home if there is mechanical problems.
First
YES!!! 🎉
