Although I hate Juventus (from the bottom of my heart) I always prefered Trezegol over Titi in the national team. France would never have won the World Cup 98 and EURO 2000 without David.
He was better than Henry for a brief period early on. Not that he had a higher ceiling overall but he was effective from a young age with his height and stability whereas Henry hadn't figured out his best position yet.
Why didn’t he play for Argentina if he wasn’t starting for France in his prime? He clearly identified as an Argentine is some respect going to River Plate.
Very inconsistent striker. Scored great goals, but not always a great goal scorer. Somehow not getting near the 200 goals mark for Juventus feels like injustice relative to his talent.
