Sharp telling her that she’s lying about her childhood trauma was beyond disrespectful. Not everyone is open to becoming vulnerable & crying even while talking about trauma events. People have different coping mechanisms when talking about things that hurt them and a very common one to to laugh bc it keeps you from crying. Especially in such a hostile environment how could you expect someone to let their guard down and be vulnerable? He was dead wrong

There's people that do not care about giving you a turn, you have to be compelling and take your turn for yourself. Picture yourself in a business meeting over millions, 100s of millions. You gotta be able to hold your ground and make your point without asking for permission to do it. Powerful people will view you as weak if you don't state yourself effectively. I think the reason why a lot of his guests get defensive and/or offended is because of HOW he says certain things . He has great insight and great knowledge to share but people (especially the women he brings on) won’t be receptive to it because of HOW he does things. A great teaching moment is now wasted because he could have showed a lil more respect in his choice of words. I look at Sharp as a teacher who has great insight for his people, but it ain’t going to get far if he doesn’t shift a little bit.
