    我在紐西蘭住了二十多年
    紐西蘭有四個星期的假期 其實你需要做全職才有 ,part time 是沒有的。 假期多,很長的時候,也會影響國家經濟,所以紐西蘭不可以和澳洲相比較,為什麼這麼多紐西蘭人跑到澳洲去,也是 kiwis 沒有 Aussi 那麽勤奮。

    紐西蘭的香港人在1997年之前達到2萬的高點,但根據2018年的統計,只有八千。工黨領導的政府在2007年實施的“ 20小時免費ECE”政策完全資助了免費的早期兒童教育, 以及四個星期的帶薪年假。 我認為您是在正確的時間來到紐西蘭的,紐西蘭的孩子們很開心,他們不必承受學習上的壓力,他們的教育和醫療免費。紐西蘭被評為最佳生活國家,我們的天氣非常好,生活質量也很高。 現在,我們的總理“ Jacinda”被視為世界上最好的領導人。 一些澳大利亞人希望紐西蘭和澳大利亞統一成為一個被稱 "Aussieland" 的新國家,“ Jacinda”成為第一任總理。

    近代的香港人被互聯網的資訊影響。如果你看1960年至2000年的香港社會,沒有人講民主,自由幾個字。90年代的香港人只關心工作,娛樂,身邊的人。在過去10年開始有“西方國家自由”的言論。最可惜就是現在已經不是歐美的世界。其實移民英國,加拿大,歐洲,澳洲的人應該想清楚發生什麼事。走回頭路可能好很多。而且亞洲不等於中國。亞洲有很多國家。

    來了紐西蘭你雖然溝通到但一定會俾人笑你啲英文;真係奉勸喺加拿大生活的中國人好好學英文。

      @@Heamom The reason for my being a little rough on the utuber (being a New Kiwi migrant ) is to make her realize any migrant living in an English speaking country must employ his or her best endeavor to integrate into the society n not stay away from it n the very basic thing one has to do is to speak proper English. One might not be able at first to speak like an native speaker but there are basics in English that one must have grasped after living in Canada for those 25 years. Be that as it may, it is better late than never. The utuber is I estimate in her early forties n she is still able to delve into the know hows in “making those typical English sounds”. I sincerely n honestly hope she could take my words in good faith n forgive my being sarcastic n rude 🙏 My children (being Australians by our heritage) born n bred in HK speak Chinese only after they started working in HK. Their mother tongue is English. My elder boy (40 n had his entire education in HK)is a consultant neurosurgeon n my younger boy (38 n earned his actuarial studies in LSE, London) is an investment banker. As for myself, I have my mother profession quailed in 1975 n worked in Sydney thereafter n I went to Bristol to do law when I was 39 in 1989. I am a lawyer for many years. I only wish those people who have decided to migrate or migrated to English speaking world work hard on their spoken English. It is very difficult to but NOT impossible change one’s accent. I speak with a southern British or RP accent. Nevertheless, the satisfaction you get from it is beyond words could describe. 若你的英文好,在外國生活一定會開心好多的🤗祝好!

    • @flyingzone356
      @flyingzone356 3 года назад +11

      Your comment reflects your ignorance and is honestly quite insulting. (You are right, your comments are indeed rude and sarcastic.) You cannot compare the English of someone who's born and raised in an English-speaking country with that of someone who immigrates to an English-speaking country when they are already an adult. If you know anything about foreign-language acquisition, you should know that there is a narrow window of opportunity for a non-native speaker to rid themselves of foreign accent. Some experts say it is as early as 12-14. People who immigrate at that age seldom lose their foreign accents. Others claim you won't be able to significantly change your accent after you hit your 20s. Yes, I congratulate you on your remarkable achievement in getting rid of your unforgivable and god-forsaken Hong Kong accent. Really, congratulation. Good job. Well-done. But do you need to be such a show-off? Do you need to judge, look down on, ridicule, and denigrate others? Does anyone ask for your expert advice? Out of everything that you can comment on, you specifically and intentionally choose to pick on this RUclipsr's accent instead of the content of her presentation. You're essentially using your RUclips comments to flaunt your background, your achievement, and your English proficiency. Yes, we know you raised English-speaking children who speak flawless English. Yes, your son is an investment banker. Yes, you are a lawyer who speaks a southern British accent. BIG DEAL. Who cares? Get a life. Stop being such a cocky asshole. This is RUclips. If you want to show off your achievement, find another channel to do so. I am SURE there are some people bored out of their mind who are willing to listen to your life achievement. By the way, I myself do not speak English with any foreign accent. (Instead, I speak Cantonese with a foreign accent.) I attended boarding school, university (Oxford), and grad school (Cambridge) in the U.K. I have lived in the U.S. and am now working as a college professor in French-Canada. Despite my background, I NEVER judge any immigrant's accented English like you do. It is condescending and honestly quite disgusting. Instead, I listen to their stories and admire their resolve and courage.
