The Ghost Dog I'm a classic Harley Quinn fan and I actually love Margot's version of her. If she will be given a better outfit and better lines she could be amazing. Margot is a great actress and got Harley's personality right, it really seems like she knows the character. The problem was that the writers didn't seem to know the character and that's why Harley was quit bad in that movie (though she was the only good thing about the movie), but hopefully next time her outfit will be better, her lines will be better and the story as a whole will be better.
Margot is one of those actresses than can adjust/adapt to any personality or character there is. I've always loved her work and I'm excited to see what else she's bringing to the big screen,

But I'm sure I was thinking she's like Barbie because "you can be anything" and actually she played different roles, like Harley Quinn (a crazy one), Tonya (a badass ice skater), Naomi (a fancy lady) and so on, she plays every character so well... So, she deserves be a Barbie, she's iconic and super beautiful!

I just finished to watch this movie and I cant believe that sebastian stan didn't get any nomination for his role. He was a bomb! So intense in every scene he was in and so different to other roles he played before. So underrated.
Likely because this movie is pure fiction and doesn't follow the events as they really happened. Both of Tonyas parents were incredibly supportive of her skating career and helped her start at the age of 4. Her coach was like a second mother to her. She was absolutely involved in the Nancy attack and paid the attacker. She got caught lying in court. I'm honestly surprised Tonya approved of this movie, it makes everyone look way worse than they really are including Tonya.

It's a shame that nobody is talking about Sebastian Stan in this movie, HE'S ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Honestly everyone is amazing, but Sebastian Stand blew me away, really didn't expect that kind of range from him but by god did he pull it off, I really hope he goes on to do more meaty roles like this because he's so fucking talented.

Margot Robbie really nailed it! Same with Sebastian Stan and Allison Janney. The way they balanced out the comedy with the insanity circus that was the Tonya Harding scandal was utterly mindblowing on so many levels! Hats off to the director, actors and the writer!
No she didn't, and Margot admitted she had never heard of Tonya Harding before this movie.

One of the best movies I've seen in years. I can barely sit through one, and knowing the backstory already to this, I didn't think I would like it too much.
I was so wrong.
This is perfection.
Saw this yesterday at the Savannah Film Festival, and OH MY GOD this movie is sensational. Allison Janney better get her speech ready and Margot Robbie is certainly worthy of a nomination, if not a win. The movie is thoughtful, dramatic, tongue-in-cheek, and darkly funny. Excellent film! Go see it!

Margot sounds so much like Tonya! lol This looks hysterical. So strange that when this actually happened my first thought is that Tonya's husband had something to do with this because of a segment about a month before that suggested he was trying to act as a manager and was abusive and controlling. I had an instinct that it was going to be connected to Tonya. One of the few occasions I was right! lol
Some people had doubts on Margot playing Tonya, because they thought she is too "Hot" for the role.

Actually, Transformers bombed, and while superhero movies continue to be successful, some of the biggest hits recently have been original films like Dunkirk, Baby Driver, and Get Out. So yeah this has been a pretty balanced year actually

OHHH ICE BABY!!! Margo Robbie deserves an Oscar for her perfect portrayal of Miss Harding and the life of abuse she encountered. The story, the structure, the characters, the editing, the camera work was all so beautifully executed. Watched it using my boxxy software and got much pleasure.

So I did some digging, and found that brains are among the many things Harding didn’t get sufficient credit for: free of certain negative influences, she had the smarts to sign up for a percentage of the box office profits from I, TONYA. YEAH, BABY. The movie did a healthy $54m on an $11m budget, so I’m smiling now…!

Though this movie was made in 2017, it wasn't released until 2018, so I picked it as my fave film of that year. What a movie, and what good performances from everyone involved. And I thank heaven my mother isn't Mrs Harding!

The way this is filmed and presented almost reminds me of "To Die For", another great movie about a real life crime. I highly recommend it!

A great dramatic film based on a real story, Margot Robbie proved here that she is not just a beautiful actress who became popular because of the role of Harley Quinn and other roles in the image of an attractive blonde, but she is really a very talented actress and here she played just gorgeous and in my opinion should have taken the Oscar, therefore, I definitely recommend watching it, the movie is very worthy
