Simple question: Wouldn't it be a more ... "straight-forward" idea to record takes for later comping...? Especially for singing - imho - comping is one of the most effective methods to get results while still remaining extremely flexible. By the way: Great singing voice! In a first step you could make takes with intended different 'content', in a second step you can simply re-record - again using multiple takes - to get parts to combine amongst each other. Some parts even could be satisfactory recorded from the first "session", hence wouldn't need to be re-recorded. So... humble question: Why no comping, why no takes?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
