Just saw this video. Was trying to make a logo with lasergrbl and downloaded light burn in frustration 😊, this is exactly what I am trying to do! Will play with for a few weeks and 99.9% positive I will purchase a license. Look forward to a more detailed video.
Thanks for the tutorials.
That is cool. I use image trace all the time but didn't realize you could trace twice on an image. I will have to play with that.
So glad to have sparked an idea! :)
Just learned something new!
Yay! Great to hear!
Thank you! It's very helpful.
Thanks for the Tip
Amazing fast tutorial thank you
I have a problem with importing a image. For some reason, the file created makes the laser pick up cutting speed and slow down during the cut. I thought something was wrong with my settings, so I checked. They were fine. So I ran another file, and it worked fine. I tried tracing the image again, and it still did the same thing.Am I not configuring it enough to run properly? It seems to insert a ghost in the machine.
Please email support@lightburnsoftware.com and send the LightBurn project file you’re working with along with information about what laser you have. You can’t post images or files here in RUclips comments, which makes it extremely hard for us to help you here.
Apparently, there is so something going on when using a certain image when copied from online. I can copy, paste, and trace in XTool Creative Space just fine and burn and cut with no problem. Lightburn may be picking up some type of code within the image. And somehow is being read as a command by Lightburn. Other people with the same problem solved it by exporting their project as an svg file and then running on XCS.
I'm not going to repeat the problem for a ticket as the problem is very violent at times and slams the diode around to the edges off the laser bed at high speeds. So, use caution.
Well! Jason ya either got some AI going or ya hired a Brit Chick, if the latter 👍👍👍
aussie possibly , but irrespective of that, this is a great educational video. great pace, short and to the point.
and as a long time user , and someone who uses trace all the time , i still learned something new.
thanks !!

@@barriewilliams7031 I am indeed Aussie! Good ear! Even some British folk have mistaken me for a local before! :)
Thank you! I am a human! A flattered one, to be compared to an AI, though! Haha!
Please do this again buy a bit slower
I keep getting doubled cut paths from images.
Are you seeing the double cut paths when viewing the preview window? If you are still having issues with this reach out to our support team with one or two of the images causing issues, along with the settings you are using when tracing. Email is support@lightburnsoftware.com
LightBurn's trace is designed for filled areas. If you're tracing a single line, LightBurn will treat it as a filled region and produce vectors that outline it. If you want it to trace along just the line, you'll need to use something that has a Centerline Trace function, like InkScape or Illustrator, as we don't have that yet.
@@lightburnsoftware7189 ok thanks
Ai....thats it)))
No, I’m a human. lol
