I have a Z900 sitting in the house as I comment. All in all the best bike I've ever owned and I've had a bunch. Had 2 3rd gen V Strom 650's and they were superb machines. Took them all over the country (US). People can say they're behind the times, but I have nothing but praise. Should have NEVER sold them. Have a new GSXS1000GT plus in their place and wonder if it was a good idea. The little 650 VTwin is truly a wonderful engine.
"Behind the times"? What does that actually mean? Not the latest and greatest? There aren't too many Japanese bikes made in the last 35+ years that aren't still up to the task that 99% of riders will ask of them. Those Suzuki twins are still ultra good engines. But then again, if Honda still made the VFR 750, it would still be a good bike today, and that came out nearly 40 years ago! So, you're not going to win the WSB championship on one, who cares. A good bike is a good bike.
I have a 2022 Versys 1000 and while it’s a great bike that has been reliable, it was also very expensive… and why no shaft drive? It’s a touring bike! No one wants to bring chain brushes, cleaners, and lubes on a vacation.
Waving Good Bye to Japanese bikes as Chinese bikes are getting a foot hold with very competitive prices and equal to better quality. The CFMoto is a poor mans dream that gives you everything Japanese bikes give and more. Just waiting for the Rebel 500 killer CFMoto 450 CL-C to arrive in February. The 450 IBEX is a one of a kind in its class offering a lower displacement ADV. THE 675SS is out and making waves in its class. All of these at affordable prices that's very competitive.
Been riding my ST1100 for 34 years now. No complaints.
damn, whats the mileage?
Excellent bike...good choice.

I hate Ai
Goldwing = RR-Bently
Super Blackbird is my paramount
Its unfortunate Honda didn't keep evolving them to compete with the Hayabusa and ZX1400.

It’s going to be decades before cfmoto can stand the test of time like Japanese bikes do
