A 747 is quite heavy. And a 747 used to be the second most efficient form of movement on the planet when calories per kilogram per kilometre are calculated. The most efficient form is a man on a racing bicycle, by the way.
I'm no wood turner, but I am a carpenter and have work on a piece of wood, or two... The skill and precision that goes into creating that Frisbee is really really impressive! To see a true master of his craft always bring a big smile to my face, I have a big smile on my face... 😊
I am so impressed not only with your woodworking skills but your ability to create videos that are unique and entertaining. Thank you so much for sharing, it is appreciated.
Perfect result. The purchased Frisbee discs (even good ones) are in the end just junk and you pay quite a bit of money for them. You've built a perfectly balanced Frisbee, which is also lighter and glides perfectly through the air. ;- )
Your skills are at another level. You are a smart worker yet hard worker, which is almost impossible to find people like you. You are an artist. You clearly love what you are doing, although i have just i slight suggestion i would really like to see in your next videos, which is creating a connection between you and the viewer by talking tell us what did you think of what struggles did you face what time did the project take. Big love ❤
Just when I think you can't top your last project... you go and top your last project. lol Takes me back to my young days tossing "the bee" with friends. Awesome job buddy!
A wooden golf disc would be easier, and stronger. I have turned many of them, from hardwood - but only for prizes. There used to be a New England man who ran a company called "FlyWood" and he created his own hardwood ply blanks, and turned them himself. I bought many of them over the years, but sadly his company folded some time ago. One of the best things about wooden discs is the sound they make when they hit a tree, or the chains of a disc golf basket.
Fabulous! I love the sounds it makes when you catch it, or when it falls on the ground! Great!
You surprised me I honestly didn't think it would fly. I thought it would be to heavy. Good job

Heavy? Do you watch the video? Is lighter than a plastic frisbee.
I am seriously impressed. That is the most stable flying frisbee I have ever seen and it's made of wood!
In fact the flight shape is a little understable. With flight numbers closest to 1 6 -1 1
Ye. Def. Understable.
Pretty mountains in the background when you're testing it. You're blessed to live in such a lovely region!

Who needs plastic, when we have wood?
Awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bravo 🙂
Fantastique comme toujours.

Very cool! Love the design.
That's super cool! I thought with making it out of maple and walnut that it would be too heavy but not so. Fantastic work 🙂
That rubber band rig is a great idea. What a beautiful frisbee.
damn, that's alot off working and editing. thanks for the vid man!!
Perfect result.

Super idée, une fois de plus. Bravo Olivier !
Great work! Looks durable.
Excellent! A beauty to behold when it's in flight.
Fantastique boulot ! Tu es vraiment talentueux
Finally, a practical application of wood turning!
Too nice to play with. For display beside actual Frisbee. Light goes through it! Fantastic!! I'm I NC, USA! 👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love it! Not as easy as it looks I think?🏆
If it’s even harder than it looks, it must be near impossible!
With is being that thin, I did NOT expect it to hold up to use! Fantastic job!
Ya te echaba de menos.
Me encanta el disco volador.
Tienes unas manos fantásticas.
It screams quality. You're a true artist.
*Wow it flys well.... you done great on making the frisbee.. have lots of years of fun playing with it... it is one of a kind 🙂.*
Fantastic!!
some scary turning! skill is amazing! Beatiful!
This is actually really interesting and you might have a new business on your hands
Thats a functional, fun piece of art!
I never thought that a frizbee would be such a practical piece for woodturning!
It flys beautifully!

Haha fantastic idea, wonderful fun project Oliver!
Very nice! And a beautiful day to play frisbee in the park as well!
Rolling on floor with laughter
very nice work but wait it even flies
Honestly that's a cool circle glue up jig. You don't struggle with the rubber bands afterwards. Genius.
You are one amazing young man. Very cool. Where ever it is that you live..sure is beautiful 😳👍🏼
Great job. This is something I would like to try.
Awesome job, looks amazing. The standard weight for an ultimate frisbee is 175g so you went harder than even needed. That's what I call impressive.

Oliver, your production value is as good as your results, well done!
Awesome heirloom! I hope it doesn't break.
Outstanding work 😍😍
Well, that was different, and I like different. Thank you for sharing 🌞
Something I may not have thought of making ... now I might have to try it. Thanks for this fun video!
Il est magnifique!
Wow, I'm amazed it actually can fly! Great result
Bonne idée !
Et encore plus léger en plus !
Excellent - many thanks for your time and efforts.
Wow! I never thought that would work. Amazing!❤
Gorgeous piece of flying art😊
You are so talented.
That’s amazing! Did not think this would work. 🤯
Really really cool. Your channel keeps surprising me. Thank you for sharing. And I am keeping my eye on your Etsy page 😉
Nice, pro tools. Cool idea and a lot of craftsmanship. This is awesome! 👍🏻💪🏼
Absolutely amazing I didn’t think it would fly it turned out beautiful just like everything else you do. Keep up the amazing work
Just when I think you can't top your last project... you go and top your last project. lol Takes me back to my young days tossing "the bee" with friends. Awesome job buddy!
Thank you Brad!
Comme dirait Seal, Fly like an eagle !! 👍🤩🤩
Thank you for you "oops!" It let's me know you are human! Great job, once again.
Very cool and uniquely one of a kind Olivier.

encore une masterpiece
Thats a very cool frisbee
That turned out very well. I was worried when it flew off the lathe. I'm glad it wasn't damaged. The sound when you catch it is cool, too.
Šikovnej 👍💯👍 krásná práce 👍👍👍
Superbe Frisbee
Fascinating!! 😮 I love your work, Olivier!!
Stylé 😊
Very cool!
Nice work. I'm surprised that it is lighter than the plastic one, and that it works so well.
Very nice another great project.
Magnific! Merci d’avoir partager :)
That drop off of the lathe proved it was sturdy. And it could “fly” 😂
Wonderful as always
Beautiful Olivier.
Would love one !...cheers.
Ok I'm picturing some guy casually walking into a Frisbee golf course and pulling out a wooden Frisbee. Jaws would drop. That turned out beautiful.
He's done it again, folks.
That's a cool frisbee! Again great job!
Excellent! Whatever next 🤔
That looks amazing, haf to admire yeh shine too, was wondering what finish you use?
Nice frisbee!
Very cool!! Wow! You are brilliant!! ✨

Bravo! That was well done, Olivier.
thanks for another video Olivier
Dang it. I want one. That is so cool.
Magnifique ! J'en veux un :D
Incredible!!!
Will it break easily, being so thin and light? Very nice work.
The rim makes it sturdy, but only for head-on impacts. If it lands upside down on something hard, most likely it will break.
Nice turnover disc. Im very interested in purchasing a driver. Any chance of parting with it?
I rather fancy trying one of those myself. What woods did you use?
Wow great job brother ❤❤❤❤❤
Bravo, beau projet. Fun.
Brilliant!
I know some disc nerds that would pay good money something like that, as always super unique!
Well done, I had expected it to be too heavy, but you proved me wrong, even lighter than plastic, you may have to start mass production! ;-)
