I love it... Clinging to life. Asking life, to cling to you. That's what running is about... We see life breaking down our doors, smashing in, saying I own you and will take you down. That's why I respect this video and those who take life on. You have two options, either let life roll over you and break your knees, break your back, pull you down with age... Or fight back and shoot your shots where you can... healthy eating... limit alcohol... no smoking... run and exercise. Myself, I run in the heat. 100+ here in Norther CA. I take the heat, I let it slap me. It's part of the process... feeling the heat, feeling it press into you. You retreat mentally and find a place where you can reside, where the legs keep moving and you just mediate and vibrate on that heat... Drink water, of course. Good luck to you. It's an honor to be alive with you at the same time in history. Good luck in your runs, keep them up.
Thank you for sharing such a powerful perspective! Running truly is a metaphor for life, and your determination in the heat is inspiring. Keep pushing those limits!
I visit this channel for my daily dose of Humility. Other people watch the Big Name PRO advice from Professionals while watching Big Races and Epic events. Becoming them takes time and long honest effort. Watching Run Adam Run keeps me grounded.
Started at 56, 9months ago losing weight and started running. Down 50 lbs and running 5 / 10 K races now. Slow but enjoying it. Enjoying your videos, keep it up !
You are doing great, looking leaner every week. I know the weight loss gets harder as we nearer goal, but we gotta keep going. The running progress is fabulous too, I am still staying around the 3-4 mile 4x a week currently, taking it steady, LOL! Not long until Balboa, you will ace it - yes and keep hydrated in that heat, phew!
Keep up the good work Adam. Your keeping me motivated to run my 1st ever half marathon in December I’m 65 years old. Curios how many days or miles a week your coach has you training?
I'm running the Twin Cities 10K this October and am glad for the inspiration! I took a break from longer runs after a few half-marathons. The world needs more 10k's. :) #slowrunnersclub
Just started watching your videos! Great content! I wondered if you could explain more about the honey rather than the gels? Ie do you make them yourself? How much do you have etc.. Many thanks Chris
Love watching your videos, you are a inspiration to others, I am nearly 50 a d spent most of my adult life not exercising I, had a health assessment a few months ago and found out I have high BP, cholesterol and fatty liver so using your videos to spur me on. What headphones are you using?
It’s my honor to inspire you! Thanks for the encouragement. They are Shokz OpenRun Pro bone conduction headphones. It’s easier to hear the cars creep up on you.

Thanks, JT. I’m figuring it out as I go. Persistence and patience are my friends and the ground of course. 😅

Thank you Louis. It varies depending on the week, but typically it’s between 15-20 miles.

BATHTUB! That's awesome! Best of luck with your Twin Cities 10K, you got this! I agree. More 10Ks. #SRC4E
Way to go, Adam! And Markus, too!
Right on! Thanks Stan. Go Markus!

Hey Adam, is there any issue with using the bone conduction style of headphones with eyeglasses?
They are super comfortable and don’t interfere with my glasses whatsoever. They don’t sound as good as AirPods, but having an open ear canal is nice.
