That is cool mate. I found it interesting to ready up on Ginger and from what Dooky told me.. that’s why I had to get out there and have a look around. Thanks for sharing this ay.
That's my Great Grandfather John Palmer alias Ginger Palmer & George Sulman, he passed in 1960 in Darwin Gaol was a well known crocodile shooter around Finniss River, Adelaide River, Daly River, he had various camps all over the Northern part of the Territory. Marrakai, Mickett Creek and Gunn Point area.
Beautiful spot. Just wondering I think a lot of us would love to see Ant Mans set up if he wouldn’t mind. It’s interesting in seeing what people use Thank you
You weren’t far from gingers you where very close . Next time look for the coconut trees , the mango tree is pretty big and his old bike frame is under it. There used to be lots of custard apple trees but the wild life killed them off. Look on google the creek is in front of the camp. Been there many times.
@@Thecampman_Camping-Australia I worked at Gun point for 8 years . Lived out there and went home on my days off. I have been to every spot your videos and quite a few more. Use to launch my boat at the crab farm & leaders , fished all around the point and islands . Good time and lots of close encounters.
That's my grandfather's last place he camped ginger Palmer my mother's father wished I met him but I will one day ..❤
