people think it's once a year... but my theory is twice a year at a minimum. One in June like what we saw during the birthday month of Gi-hun's daughter (in S1 E1)... By June 26 timeline in the story he had already won. The other is late October/ early November (like what we saw in S2 E2) during the Halloween. And then when you look at S1 Ep5 "A Fair World", the Squid Archives show multiple hardbound file for just one year, like minimum 4 hardbound file folders containing data and tally of names of contestants and winners per game.
These are good observations. And by inference, we can assume it was around October/November when he was about to fly to America. Gi-hun wanted to redouble their efforts in this episode because it was around the time he saw the recruiter at the airport. This may have been a minor plot hole because his personal recruitment occurred in June, as you pointed out. So why would he assume it'd be another year before they saw the recruiter again if they missed this fall window? Anyway, good points.
4 years cannot be😂, cuz after winning he was not spending the money hence 001 contacted him after one year and finally he started to use his money, giving it to SaeByeok and SangWoo's mum. Got pinkish hair and saw the requiter again hence not visiting his daughter. Unlikely the requiter start to give the cards 3 years in advance 😂 and would be not smart business model, people are getting in debts frequently why wait 4 years so they can end themselves or the sharks end them 😂😅
As Front Man was watching Red Light Green Light, he looked bored to death, check him out again. When it was over, you see him walk away from his viewing area. Thats when he changed clothes and joined in the voting. Maybe he understood when the old man 001 told him in S1 that "it was more fun to play then to watch". Front Man decided to play.....And..The Recruiter died at the end of Ep 1
why did they change the policy? To prove GiHun even giving people chances to stop most still pick to stay. Noone forces them to continue, they are willing sacrificing their own live just like the old man said. previous game they got one chance to leave decided to return the rest is history. Even with one knowing the truth can not change the mind of the trash people. 😅
I know you're just trying to be helpful and you personally may have recognized the father straightaway. Hell, the writer/director may have intended for most folks to recognize him then and there. But keep in mind, the writer/director also provides a flashback in a later episode for the viewers who may not have gotten it this time around. When in doubt, let the storytellers tell the viewers.
@@MrROKinROK everybody is supposed to have recognized him. How can you be confused? Western people just have difficulty with asian faces, but that definitely is not intended for people to not understand n°11 story
@@MrROKinROK ok cool, so I had no doubt. They showed the father establishing he's the father of the kid she for some reason cares about, then they showed him AGAIN this time in the games it means they want you to know who he is. The story tellers Told...
@@bok-mb9dv You're missing my larger point. Let's take another example. In episode 2, to catch us up and tie up a loose end, the writer shows us Sang-woo's mother and Sae-byeok's brother. In this instance, if a reactor misses the boat, by all means, tell them who those folks were. This is a case where the storyteller does not revisit those characters again. However, for this situation, the storyteller DOES revisit the characters. And the storyteller gives a more on-the-nose reminder for folks who may have missed it the first time around. Watch some other reaction videos. A number of folks don't connect the dots this episode. But when they get to the scene where No-eul has a flashback to the man running after the ambulance, it finally clicks for them... "Oh, that's the sick kid's father!" So why tell them something they're going to learn on their own (i.e., from the story the storyteller tells)? Personally, I'd rather see a reaction where reactors make the connection ON CAMERA rather than see them "announce" to viewers something they learned off camera with something like, "by the way, a commenter told me who no. 246 was. Sorry I missed it, guys."
2:13 In "defense of" the writer/director, I think it's wholly plausible that the recruiter remained elusive for years. It's plausible for a number of reasons. 1. Even assuming the games are held annually, the recruitment wouldn't be year-round. It would be around the time the games are to be held as it's unlikely a contestant would be accosted in January only to have the official invitation be delivered in September, say. So Gi-hun's (smaller) team would've been fruitlessly combing the subway stations for a 10-month stretch when no recruitment was going on. This lowers the odds of finding him. 2. The Seoul subway station is massive and extensive. And there are 5 other cities with subway lines. Gi-hun's (smaller) team would've been concentrated in the Seoul system. 3. From the replay of the ddakji slap games, we see that the recruitment didn't only take place in subway stations. We see the backdrop of other locations, including parks and tunnels and the outside apartment complexes, etc. So the (smaller) teams are not camped out at all the possible recruiting locations. 4. The recruiter is likely not hanging out in spots. We know from Gi-hun's recruitment, he was targeted. The recruiter had all the personal details about him and his debts. He didn't happen upon Gi-hun at the subway station. He followed him down there. So this makes the recruiter's travel habits even more random. 8:40 I'm Gonna Git You Sucka is a classic movie that not enough folks have seen. 11:24 If this isn't proof positive of minor information about future events being a spoiler, I don't know what is. Here, Pearl speculates that Thanos is the first to go (i.e., in episode 3, the first episode where he appears). People watching a show blind don't know about characters' storyline. So when commenters make seemingly innocuous comments about a character when they first appear (e.g., You'll love his story arc, This guy's my favorite character, Don't worry, you'll grow to love this guy, etc.), they're providing future information the show has not provided. Again, it's not major, but to this one UNSPOILED viewer, Thanos was fair game to meet his end. Why spoil even that type of nugget? 14:46 Here's the thing about that sneeze formation. Koreans do not sneeze courteously. As of yet, most do not follow that sanitary protocol. So what looks to a Westerner like a mindful sneezer, to your average Korean, it's someone simply assuming a cool pose.
why the heck some guy gave that near to the actual island?😅 want to trick others and picking a new destination 4 miles away 😂 the front man literally bait them to this island which probably way too far. S. Korea has more than 3 thousands Island noone gonna pick the easiest to locate and on a tourist map 😂 probably undiscovered island not on apple map 😂
Tried to watch but,ya'll talk so much ya'll missed some important stuff and she's annoying, we get it she's been to Korea and knows about Asian culture

Don’t worry, it’s usually shot in bulk, so nothing was spoiled via the comments.
