I took a motorcycle camping trip out that way with a buddy about 4 years ago. We rode 2500 miles in 5 days, straight through Cody and Yellowstone. Same roads you were on, opposite direction. Great video, I can remember it like it was yesterday!!

Rushmore, Needles, Custer State Park, Iron Mountain Road, Spearfish, Canyon, etc...Great video my friend!...Enjoyed seeing some of the sites that you enjoyed! BTW...You and your video logs were the inspiration for this particular trip...Thanks, and I am originally from Mississippi, so I really enjoyed the accent...Oh, and I also ride an FJR! (Mike J)

Thank You, great tour, Sry you didn't get to see the president's.I have yet to get out there,Yellowstone, etc.I'm in CA. My FJR-1300 2005 engine/frame with 2007 complete body, The Best touring bike for me. Love it. The newer six speed/cruise control would be nice, but $17000 is a bit much just to upgrade. I got mine for $3400. Had 32,000 now 44,000 miles, runs perfect. My buds at work are,I think, missing out on their Harley's (COOL) but FJR has (Ultra Performance).I made my own Cruise control (Machinist) and if you were to ride 300+ miles in a day , You would want some kind of Cruise c setup.I did 2600 miles, six days, My hand would have died without it.

I need Pegs for my 2017 to help me with my back and leg circulation during long rides like your videos...Nice view of these United States....This country is almost as big as the continent of AUSTRALIA...

Buy an FJR, 2007 or later(Ultra Performance) at 30,000 miles Throw a new rear shock Yss Heavy spring $337 and rebuild forks $150-$200, and if you want to spend the cash, the 2016+ six speed with factory cruise is soooo perfect. You will Love the bike.Factory top box is quite a bit bigger than Givi, Yamaha $600+ ouch!!! Your helmet can fit in all 3 factory cases but not the Givi, I believe? The wife/etc. will feel safer with factory box also, if you want your lady Happy ? 2005(cheap deals) an older don't have all the great improvements but still a great bike.

They are very comfortable for long trips but I do pull the bars back on my bikes to give me a more upright riding position. I have no trouble riding 11 or 12 hours a day when traveling.
