The Singer is tv competition. Jessie J won 3 of 4 first episodes and KZ came on as replacement of elim in ated low scorer an d won this episode!
It's autotune maxed out for effect in the intro. The fact that so many people think it's her natural voice shows her mastery of the technique (which is the same as what Cher used in Believe). It was used to catch people's attention. Clearly it worked. Some will deny it's autotune but KZ said herself in an interview it was only used in the intro. BTW - the rap is in tagalog which is her native language (Philippines)

@@MontWRLDtv honestly, I understood what she just rapped even though it ain't my mother tongue anyways I'm pretty sure she wrote it, she's very good writer as well cause she used different or harder words to fit the rhyme scheme in her raps
Anyways, I can't translate it word for word
But in her rap she just rapped about her hardships and how the people around her discourage her, but it the same time she rapped how she overcome it all by proving it live herself

Her intro is autotuned. Autotune is a no for this show but they allowed it for effects during the intro. After the intro, it's all her raw voice until the end.
This is what I love about KZ. She does re-arrangements of every song she covers making them hers. ❤️❤️❤️

Not robotic, not harmonized voice in the begining. Simply auto-tuned. A couple minutes later auto-tune was switched off. And of cause, she did this song her own.
