Smaller is THE IN THING, young people can't afford or have room for the massive trees of the past, beautiful job and thanks for the video.

    盆栽初心者ですが、良さだけは伝わります!!
    質問なのですが、ミニ盆栽を定期的に植え替えたり、良く世話をしていれば寿命が比較的短い栗や、山椒なども100年以上もちますか?

I have admired much of the previous work, but almost cried to see the loss of the main trunk,
apparently because the tree was too long for that category.

This is exactly what I'd have done on this tree.
If in doubt, make the foliage mass smaller.

Hello. Why do many people like to cover the surface of the pot with granite sand? Does this make any sense or is it just cheaper? It is very inconvenient to water.

Hello, I am a regular at watching all your videos from SPAIN and although the question I ask you has nothing to do with today's video, I am going to ask it to you, if you do me the favor of answering me well, if not, then nothing, there is no problem
The question is this, I have maple bonsai trees that are even 20 years old with me and something is happening to me that has never happened to me before (I have been with maple bonsais for around 50 years and something is happening to me that has never happened to me and I have brought expert people here, but no one can give me a solution, I would appreciate it if you know anything about this.
What is happening to me is that my maples are drying from the top down, the trunk is starting to turn black from the top down, ending up completely drying out.
    thank you and greetings

    俺なら下枝全部落とし樹幹をシャリ方に寄せて折りたたむな。十分中品に持って行ける。

This is relatively conservative, the top guys like Kimura are all butchers with a chainsaw. At least junipers can be grafted.
