I spotted the similarities between Tennesse and Time the moment I heard Time. But most people don't realize he was adapting his score for Thin Red Line's "Journey to the Line" for Tennessee. That's why i think he plays Thin Red Line in concert despite it being an obscure selection. I mixed my own suite of the three, but I always wanted to hear a mash up of the three, where it starts with Journey to the Line (2m 44s into the track) with the falling triplets as I call them, on strings, then they keep going as harmony for Tennessee on piano, which evolves into Time on piano. And basically take elements from all three on different instruments and mix them together for an epic finale (variations on a theme) that ends in a piano solo the way Time ends. That would be perfection.
I wonder if you'd ever make medley of James Horner soundtracks. I know there is Titanic song, but Horner have lot of soundtracks with equally beautiful pieces. I can imagine that your cover would be...epic, as always.
