Very smart to leave a video showing the condition of the truck when you left. I did the same thing when I left my last company, just to ensure they couldnt say I left the truck trashed or damaged. Good luck at Oakley.
wow the Geese gave you a farewell flyover! Looking forward to the content to come but very happy that I found your Maverick content when I did... best wishes!!!!!
Really excited for you. I’d be interested to know how difficult the purchasing of the truck was. Maybe you can help us out with that without going to personal into finances. I’ll be glued to RUclips to watch this adventure.
Been watching your videos and trying to learn as much about maverick as I can. Had the privilege to talk with you some about maverick as well. Great to see someone progress! Looking forward to seeing the videos, from the owner operator side, with Oakley! Congratulations!
Nice truck and great color combination with the decals. Looking forward to your new videos in regards to the type of product or products you'll be hauling. Plus the new places you'll be going to. Michagen in the winter? Lol.
Congratulations on being able to become an owner operator definitely you bought a very nice truck it's good that you was able to get the experience at Maverick an now your starting a knew chapter in your life congratulations again
Nice truck!!! I am super excited to see the new videos in Red and the end dump. I drive a tri axle dump truck and my next move will be into a semi pulling and end dump hopefully. Good luck have a great day!
Do you think you’ll miss running flatbed? I was running flatbed for a company out of Muscatine Iowa and went to dump truck about 8 months ago and I don’t know why but I miss running flatbed 🤣
Congratulations! On your new job @ Oakley! Did you buy the truck straight out? Are you buying it from Oakley? Wanted to know if its considered there. Your subscriber* Eli~
Always had my eye on Oakley because they, like Maverick, are headquartered just a few miles from my home. But they require 2 years experience and only use owner/ operators. It took me a while to get the courage to buy a truck!
Just a quick question bud. I also work for Maverick and I’m thinking about becoming a O/O for them. But my question for you is. Why didn’t you try do go with Mavericks O/O program?
First, it is a Peterbilt, not a Freightliner; course it's a 579, not a classy 389 like mine, but each to his own, but we will forgive you,. Hope your payment is not too bad, but owner-operator is the only way to fly, I am not leased to anyone I take the loads I want, not what is dispatched
Best of luck to you! Stay safe!!
Hey Neil! Thanks a lot my friend. You and your videos helped me get started on this journey. Good to hear from you
Hate to see you go but I wish you nothing but the best in your new endeavor. It was great meeting you.
Thanks very much

Eli~
I bought it from Arrow truck sales in Springfield Missouri
@@paperboytrucker5275 I know the place
What made you make the switch... you sold maverick pretty hard and then the switch.. was hoping for more of a backstory

@@paperboytrucker5275 thanks for the reply.. be safe

Oakley pays better and no tarps when ur an o/o u get all the money
Hey .. I just wanted to know , is that's normal maverick transportation takes more then 2 weeks for hiring process new cdl driver ?
What engine's in the pete?
Paccar 455

😄😁😃
Beautiful Peterbuilt…im happy for you and looking forward to some great videos ….keep her clean and shiny buddy ☝️👊💪🤣
If Maverick was so good, then why did you leave there??
Maverick was a great place to start and get experience but the earnings potential at Oakley as an owner/operator is much better
What required to owned truck from Arrow did you put down think for Answer
Hey man do you have time to chat sometime. i just applied to maverick
