this is normal here in Brazil, there is a socket even on top of the shower if you have an electric shower
it is so certifying to watch someone working 😋
Having basic construction knowledge, this hurt my soul. So many things are gonna go wrong. Light switch on a bathroom? Realllllly?
Light switch is not ideal, but covering the LED junction boxes with tile is insane. bumpy road=loose connection = flickering light= unfix-able.
In Germany most Bathrooms has the lightswitch on the inside...
@@xx_xha2269 This isnt a standard bathroom though. Its a wetroom where it's eventually gonna get wet
To be fair, he said he doesn't know electricity stuff
cherry moon he said he’ll change it eventually.
NEED more of this bus!!
Are you sure the tile won’t crack or break when going over slightly tougher terrain?
listen to his podcast - nope he doesn't.
You think this guy actually knows what he's doing?
there is going to be cracks in many of the grout joints after the first road trip. Unfortunately the construction used wouldn't hold up in a house let alone a bus.
Good concept, but a pretty unsightly finish to anything. I like that you are not afraid to try new things in life. And you have your own house on wheels :) Cool option, wherever you go, you are "at home" :)
"And it if aint broke dont fix it"
Damn that just Sweet told to CJ when sweet bought the same bucket ass car
man,, its weird to see you transform this bus into a tiny home because ive actually grown up seeing this bus driving around my town (near el reno) during the fall/spring sports seasons back in Oklahoma. i love that youre giving it new life
Any thoughts on the outlet and light switch being so close to the showerhead? I think it is far enough away that it won't get water directly running down it but I would be a little worried about the amount of moisture in such a small space and splash from showering.
Hahahaha let him ride the lightning. Be doing the world a service.
@@bighaneul89 Thank you *Bows*
Just imagine how many people think they can do this . Then go do it 😂 . Something happens , they hurt others or themselves .
There's a reason why certified professionals ! Make more money .
That's what happens when you are not professional, he is just doing DIY he isn't specialised in nothing
mannnnnn i hope you put silicon on that shower flange that got installed on top of the plastic tarp stuff and laid your mortar bed. i chased that leak for days in my flood test
I am baffled at your pronunciation of the word "cement".
Semen is all I hear and it distracted me from a great video and great build!
But seriously though. Was he just saying a brand of cement called C-ment or something? You a silly boy
Pretty sure he's just pronouncing it See-ment...or he's just messing with all of us.
TheTownHero he’s a da merican they don’t speak English they speak americanese!
Yeah crazy right, it's like people from different places pronounce words differently or something...who knew.
Sarika Sabnis American people talk like that tho
That's how we say it where I live. So many Karens in the comments.
I'm sitting here really late on watching this and all I can say is I enjoy him popping out of every door.
Dude, just found your channel and so far this is exactly what I'm looking for in a bus! Can't wait for the next video. Question, will you be fogging the window?
I bought fogged plastic restick sheets on Amazon for are bathroom window that can be looked in from our deck
if you want to get into building your own bus, make sure to check out some other sources... this dude is doing one hell of a hack job. if you want to do it right and want your bus to hold up long time, best not follow his advice
felix gla I meant layout wise, not exact building materials
Thanks!! Nah, I want to be able to see outside when I shower :)
these tiles are really popular now, especially in architecturally designed builds. Super cool with the blue grout!
"I'm not gonna beat myself up like I would if I was installing this in a home."
😤
You said you were making this bus a home, are you not?
I’m really looking forward to this school bus house because it’s going to turn out soooooo beautiful. I love this ❤️
13:37 the tiles are exactly the size of the drain, but he didn’t account for that.
Cause he used the already existing hole in the floor for the drain
he sounds like Kyle-Ispy...Awesome
I hate Raid shadow Legends sponsorship almost as much as NordVPN sponsorship.
It was 2 seconds. FF past it. You're a Raid Shadow Legends marketer aren't you! dirty bugger :)
@@ryangalaska6351 I thought he was just being funny.
No matter what you say Raid has helped a lot of small RUclipsrs you know. Thanks to them a lot of channels managed to continue growing
When the opinion is literally correct
I love the blue grout idea
Already know the answer to this but I'm going to ask it anyway why didn't you just remove the Windows from the bus why didn't you just use that plastic stuff on the walls , and I hope you included videos on how you install those water tank and if you're going to use a freshwater tank and how you install all that and where you install that along with a complete electrical on how that's all going to be hooked up and set up
Great video. I definitely wouldn’t have used sharkbites though. With all the money that was spent on sharkbites you could’ve gotta a kit with a proper pex crimping tool. Pex is great when paired with crimp or expansion rings. Lets hope your sharkbites dont leak or crack when they freeze.
That shower is going to fail the very first time it sees water 🤦🏻♂️ no preslope and the drain is sitting inches above the liner. Cement board alone isn’t waterproof either 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Jc Dominguez oof
Chill
If he would have at least painted the whole room with the pink stuff, it would stand a chance.
Yo🤦🏻♂️ bro 🤦🏻♂️ like🤦🏻♂️ don’t 🤦🏻♂️ use 🤦🏻♂️ so 🤦🏻♂️ many 🤦🏻♂️ emoji’s 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Dude he literally said he wasn’t a professional he’s trying his best
