hey john, nowadays i'm thinkin to purchase a student trompet. as I saw your video, roy benson is quite good. so what s the difference between roy benson tr101 and tr202? you shared this video 3 years before. how is your trompet's condition now? thanks,
Hi Kadir, I was just playing my Roy Benson tr 101 and valves moved smoothly,very important. Toe is still good and looks like new since I take carte of my instruments,very important. The other tumpet you mentioned I don't know at all. As for beginner trumpets Roy Benson as I have is very good choice. However if you are adventureous, check eBay for used auction trumpets . There are many Holton collegiate trumpets on ebay. Other brands also on ebay at good prices,howevver some of those horns require repair or adjustments a beginne r would not know.. A good mechani can fix stuck tuning slides,small dents and stuck valves.. Good values but some risks there. Hope this helps :

The roy benson tr-202 is really awesome! Very clear and crisp sounds. And really easy high register also.
