Hi Sebastian! Thank you for uploading this video. I’ve always wondered how large each bag/jar is and this just put everything into perspective. The pigments look so beautiful and bright!
Please be safe. Don't make excuses for licking paintbrushes and not wearing a mask. Your choices could influence others and I'd prefer not to have to worry about you. What art companies describe as non toxic may vary from what you understand the term to mean. One artist youtuber I watched mixing her own pigments went on to get terrible migraines. I am happy to have found someone using a waterproof binder with their pigments though. That is facinating .
Hey there, you are right. Thanks for your words. I really try to eliminate the "brush-licking" habbit with great effort ;) But I really stay away from the very toxic stuff, like chrome, lead etc, and also some natural pigments, that can be very toxic, eg. lapislazuli. But then again, there are also very safe colors, for example the water soluable indigotin, which is also used as a food-color. It really depends on the individual substance, but yes - in general its good to practice safety !
It is :) Its a bit unusual for most western folks, since its not sharpened at the middle, but on one side, and so you have to pick one that suits you as a left- or right-hander. But its very nice to make straight cuts, e.g. along a ruler then.
Hi Sebastian. Nice video. I cant wait to see how you work in nihonga style with kremer pigments. Do you make some separation casein levigation or something to get shades?. Thank you.
Hey there - three years inactive xD Live had other plans... but I start doing some work now again :) Ahm... to be honest, I dont even know what a casein levigation is -.- So no... I dont ^^
Amazing, be careful with pigments they are toxic and can be harmful. Use a mask to handle the pigments Show us the process and the paint u make! Nice colection of pigments! xo
nice video. I am unable to use the link you provided in the description box for your website. I would like to see your art. The link is invalid. you should also be careful about your private info. your address is visible on the receipt (die Rechnung).
Thank you very much for the hint with the privacy ! I will check that. I had a bit of a struggle the last two years - but I am through now, and on a better way. I will soon upload regular videos, and also redo the homepage new :) But thank you very much for you took the time to comment - it means something to me :)
