Glad you enjoyed the mod! If anyone else has any fun ideas for small fun mods to make Haelian play, let me know and I can throw them together and add them to the Fun Hole (patent pending)
Hmm, what about Super Shiny Mode: Only Core, Duo and Legendary boons, with the requirements for Duo and Legendary boons removed. If you could also make it impossible to swap out Core boons that would be even better.
Not every chamber is a Boon, but every chamber that would give one Boon is instead replaced by a Trail of the Gods. Combine this with cranking up the powers of the Gods trying to end you way up. If not to hard to implement, the Boons that you currently have from the angry God's stops working for the encounter. Maybe the enemies could get access to one random core Boon that you lost.
I'm predicting that this'll be a bit harder than a usual run, but not by much. On one hand, every chamber being a Boon means every chamber is a +2.5% damage bonus with Family Favorite, since item shops are only gonna be boons (presumably) no reason to not take either Tooth, Collar, or Butterfly which could give you even more bonus damage per room if you're feeling lucky (I can't remember Butterfly off the top of my head so +2.5% for convience) so if you can get really good, that's +5% per room, although you do loose out on either 50 HP which is valuable in this run with no Hearts or getting to revive once with Tooth. Either way, I think it'll be difficult but not tortuously so.
You can still get healing from the Wells of Charon and the fountains at the end of each floor. Plus depending on the boons you might have a ton of damage resistance (Aphrodite, Athena, Dionysus) or dodge chance (Hermes) to make up for a lack of health. Hell it may be better to take Hermes' keepsake since damage isn't going to be as much of an issue if you're getting boons constantly and stacking particularly strong ones like Thunder Dash/Double Strike Zeus boons. So you may aswell take the Hermes one for more speed and dodge chance to stay alive.
My prediction is harder. No random Daedalus hammers, no bouldy boy, no pomegranate soup, no free poms of power, no free minotaur hearts, and much more limited gold. Plus a lot of boons replace each other, so eventually you'll just be swapping back anf forth between skills I presume. That's my logic anyway.
My prediction is that it might actually be harder. Generally in a run you only use a few core boon interactions so the excess of boons might not actually make it significantly easier once you get a build going. In turn you lose poms, hammers, and hearts. Hearts you can go without with enough skill, and hammers are situational, but the first pom or 2 on a boom are significant DPS. Though if you reroll your main boons into heroic as gods re-offer, I guess that's the same as a pom on a rare boon, I don't know about a epic with a pom. Overall I just think boons have finishing returns after you get a good setup, unless your build works well with several legendary and or duo boons. But a lot of builds don't need those.
Friend and lover! The cry for CGull every turn had me rolling. "boons boons boons" after several years of watching on the tubes, thats the first time i saw you fish.
The fact that you sold stubborn roots only for it to come back two more times is hilarious. Also makes me wonder: Could you do the same thing with rare crop? Use it to buff a boon, sell it, and then have it come back to buff a different boon?
i dont think you can sell it. something interesting about it though! if you sell one of the boons it selected and eventually get it back, it will start upgrading again!
I made a max dodge chance build recently I’m sure you’ll enjoy trying out: -Lambent plume -Max level aspect of Zagreus twin fists (+15% dodge chance) -Greater evasion -Second wind -Smoldering air (to trigger second wind as many times as possible) -Any other boon that makes god gauge fill up quicker
Yea, getting a bunch of boons is cool, but the real question is, what would happen if you depleted a god's boon pool? Is there a default option like with the poms, or does the game just crash or softlock?
I'm pretty sad about the fact that you didn't go for Curse of Drowning even though you can use Blade Dash/Ares' Aid for it. Though it's incompatible with Mirage Shot, it would've made the run a lot more interesting for sure
I feel like Second Wave would be more interesting if it shot out a wave around the enemy[ies] affected by knockback, in order to affect any other enemies nearby, as well as deal a little extra potential damage
Why does his gameplay look so much aesthetically better? Is that just what Hades looks like on PC? I've seen other PC runs and doesn't pop that way. Is it a mod?
Prediction: I’d say harder, because no health (spiked collar could be a solution, but it doesn’t fix anything besides health) no poms (but that can be changed if you have mom Pom), no Charon.
Okay so Charon does exist for this, alright. Honestly I feel like that’s cheating. You can get everything else (health, poms, hammers) from him. The only Charon that should be there is the end one.
Next you shoud try a trial in every chamber. Double boons all over the place! Maybe add the ability to hey duos from trials though Edit: “hey” is supposed to be “get”
i dont get why he doesnt do artemis, ares, and Poseidon combo bc i have runs with hera's where i can get upwards of 3500 dmg on a single fully loaded attack
It really depends, if your running family favorites (iirc) then it should be easier after just a handful of chambers. However with some just absolute trash RNG it could get really hard really fast.
Glad you enjoyed the mod! If anyone else has any fun ideas for small fun mods to make Haelian play, let me know and I can throw them together and add them to the Fun Hole (patent pending)

Howbout all boons again, except its only those from chaos?
Only Heroic for a steamroller run!

add a heat level that makes all the mobs that are going to spawn in a chamber all at once
Since you can still buy centaur hearts, and poms, the downside is minimal- Curious to see a version where all shop items are also boons.
hard to get the money though
they made a self imposed rule in the run to not buy those
you control the items you buy
Or, reverse, the rules, having to buy every boon.
Second Wave should create whirlpools where enemies die. Make it the size of the enemy that dies and it either pulls in or pushes away other enemies
Maybe change the name then too.
We finally have the answer to "which god does Theseus pick if every god is in your pool" and it's Artemis, of course.
14:53 as someone who just barely beat 32 heat today, I feel so called out. Also that hades fight was the fattest stomp I’ve ever seen
But all boons means no bouldy or patty or snake lady 😢
Snake lady?
@@beng7175 i think they meant eurydice, no idea now they got snake from that though
@@meestorpheesh Cause she got bit by a snake and died I guess, but more probably her tree hair looks like snakes
She was a dryad, her hair is meant to look like a tree...
wtf guys
Weirdddd, bcs I always thought that her hair look more like the stick of sunflowers

isnt family favourite just 5 for each god you have? so not each boon?
it was painfully easy

10:38 Chaos looks differently...
Friend and lover! The cry for CGull every turn had me rolling. "boons boons boons" after several years of watching on the tubes, thats the first time i saw you fish.
I always found poseidon's boons super fun, but I never tried his cast on bewulf
It made my favorite cast even better lol
Hades : zagreus its time for our 1v1 .....
Zagreus with all boons and hades keepsake: its more like 1vsall
Haelian’s right stubborn roots was put into the game to be sold
The fact that you sold stubborn roots only for it to come back two more times is hilarious. Also makes me wonder:
Could you do the same thing with rare crop? Use it to buff a boon, sell it, and then have it come back to buff a different boon?
You can't sell Rare Crop unfortunately.
It's called stubborn for a reason
i dont think you can sell it. something interesting about it though! if you sell one of the boons it selected and eventually get it back, it will start upgrading again!
Stubborn Roots? More like... stubborn... roots. Dang
I think it'll be harder, because you miss out on so many of those crucial resources like hearts or poms
Lack of extra health might make it tough for an average schlub like me
he talks crap about stubborn roots but that boon is literally the only reason I was able to finish my 32 heat run
Yeah I get you and it also saved my ass once, but it has limited purpose for someone with a very high skill level.
I made a max dodge chance build recently I’m sure you’ll enjoy trying out:

Got several of these runs on the channel around here somewhere.
@@Haelianawesome! I’ll check it out
Oops! All Boons!
Stubborn actually won me the game two times, allowed me to come back on Hades fight. On your level I get it, you just don't get hit.. right?
Yea, getting a bunch of boons is cool, but the real question is, what would happen if you depleted a god's boon pool? Is there a default option like with the poms, or does the game just crash or softlock?
That is a very good question
Ooo, yeah! The other person reminded that there IS such a failsafe on boons!
You get breakfast of course :^)

it's cute that you were worried about time

I just wanna say, Chaos boons are still boons. :D
21:18 " Twitch chat want one thing and it's disgusting"
LEGENDARY !
The Heroic Killing Freeze turned out to be pretty useful. 70 extra dps during bosses is no joke
I wonder what a vengeful mood build would look like.
Just came here to say "Oops All Boons!" before anyone else did!
I think every room giving u a boon would make it easier because all those boons would be overpowering
hmm, for someone like haelian i gotta think this'll be easier
my opinion on chaos is that chaos is a god, thus chaos gates count as boons
This pact setup for 32 heat combined with beowulf Mirage shot just let me beat 32 heat
Ultimate glass cannon build.
Haunted by the ghost of Stubborn Roots lol
My prediction is higher difficulty. Gonna hit diminishing returns pretty quickly and feel the absence of poms, hearts, coins, and reward characters.
also known as Stubborn Roots: The Game
I'm preemptively guessing harder because no hammers, no hearts, no poms, except maybe in shops or events.
Dio and Poseidon duo boon should be holy diver change my mind
Tbh he should’ve allowed hammers as in all but name they are a boon I mean a god is giving you a power up
Why does his gameplay look so much aesthetically better? Is that just what Hades looks like on PC? I've seen other PC runs and doesn't pop that way. Is it a mod?
Not a mod but a lot of other people might only record in 720p is my guess.
Prediction: I’d say harder, because no health (spiked collar could be a solution, but it doesn’t fix anything besides health) no poms (but that can be changed if you have mom Pom), no Charon.

Sea storm you say, chat

You don't say
Which one is it
Run idea: how many times can you get offered (and decline) stubborn roots?
"rod my ass" Haelian, 2023
Aww Lightning Rod is my fave boon :,(. Tho you do pickup your spell crystals fast so it wouldn’t have worked well in this case lol.
Next you shoud try a trial in every chamber. Double boons all over the place! Maybe add the ability to hey duos from trials though
Edit: “hey” is supposed to be “get”
Got a heart from dad! Guess who isn’t drinking himself to sleep tonight!!
That’s a lotta boons
Ah the ending was so goofy
i dont get why he doesnt do artemis, ares, and Poseidon combo bc i have runs with hera's where i can get upwards of 3500 dmg on a single fully loaded attack
Prediction without having thought much about it: harder because you don't get any poms or hearts
What did @Haelian mean by saying secret kill at Minotaur?
What is your record for most duo-boons in an unmodded run?
do more of these!
Super new to Hades (I still haven’t gotten out my first time yet). Why do you often say “you have to sell one” at the pool of purging?
Depends on the run but we might be using a Pact of Punishment called Underworld Customs that forces you to sell a boon every zone.
Whats the best beowolf casts?
Beowulf with all those boons? Is this Elysium/Heaven? lol
I think this run will be harder than most, because you wont have access to hammers and health increases.
EDIT: ok, i was VERY wrong. I also laughed hard when chaos gave normal olympian boons; that HAD to have been a deliberate change from the modder.
Hahaha it's ok I wasn't certain myself either
prediction is that this is easier than average
Can you run this mod with Olympus extra?
is gonna be difficultier i believe
I love boons so much i made it my last name!
I thought hunters flare was worse than icy flare.
Dunno about prediction, man, I play godmod and think that tanking all dad's hits to my face is the best strategy.
Comment for the algorithm.

*Ayo?*
rooooooood👺
Can you do a run where you can only get 1 God's boons?
Pretty sure I got at least 1 video around here where I do that... sorry might be tough to find.
boo, why'd you enable the purge pact?
RIP the roots
easier except for health that would be a pain
Does Hades have a Steam workshop or is it just Nexus?
🐐🐐🐐
Cries in ps5 :( one day mods will come to console
Haven’t watched yet but I’m assuming this is op?
Huh? Am I the only one who likes Icy Flare?
my prediction? sounds fxxking broken 😅
How dare you not title this video "Oops All Boons" 😂
For me it whould be harder for you easier
