It’s so curious to me how everyone thought that Chrissy was pregnant when she was puking but my head went straight to eating disorder (I think it’s bc I have it, so it was immediate)

Way behind on watching this one, but just wanted to comment on a side tangent: the reason they cast adults as teenagers is entirely practical. Casting a minor involves hiring a child advocate, tutor, and there's very strict rules about hours they can work. Hiring an adult is much cheaper because you don't need those things. The rules are much less strict. It's so much cheaper and easier to work with an adult that most people don't really care whether or not they actually look like a teenager or not. The cost/hassle savings is significant.
