In this video, I mine opal gemstones for 10 HOURS. I've mined almost every gemstone in the game other than this, and I wanted to try it out. Turns out, it's a lot better than I expected... Gemstone mining is one of the best money-making methods in hypxel skyblock, and people regularly mine ruby and jade gemstones. However, opal is a much lesser-discussed topic, which Is why i wanted to give it a go. It saves the annoying process of setting up a ruby route in hypixel skyblock, and is straight-up worth more to sell than jade gemstones, so in theory, it should be a perfect coin-making method. (spoiler: it is.) Anyways, here's how to Opal mine in Hypixel Skyblock.

I enjoy opal a lot because of the no setup time, but the lag breaks me
If you turn off every mod you have that isn’t needed and replace them with optimization mods then the lag can be easy to deal with

you could also mine jasper. It doesn’t cost a lot of time to set up (just buy a grotto for like 10m) and you don’t have to deal with either blazes or lagspikes (at least the lagspikes aren’t nearly as bad as in the crimson isle)

the lag in the crimson isle is insane, i can’t even do dojo without seeing like 5 spikes while trying so hard to get the best score

fun fact, if you ever find a really really laggy crimson isle, try to do the sword swapping challenge, apparently the server will spaz and the timer wont go down during lag spikes letting u essentially travel between zombies instantly

20m/hr is pretty decent, you should try mining armadillo routes for 10 hours then you'll see some really insane money pour in, around 50-70m/hr.
more like five hours of setting it up and five hours of actual mining
@@ShadowOfThePit if it takes you 5 hours I think there's a huge skill issue there. usually takes a bit under an hour

hey, Im wondering if the slayer glitch still works
this is the 17th time I have watched this video, this is a cinematic masterpiece! The editing, the coreography, the plot twists, the sound design, everything is perfect down to the last detail! I would say that opal mining is interesting due to the lack of setup. But my favorite gemstone to mine is jasper because I make 35 mil to 55 mil per hour jasper mining. My rates vary because it’s depends on jasper prices.
yeah jasper seems insane lol, i tried it a while ago but it wasn't that good due to low prices, they're sky high right now so i might give it another go
@@xTomCat yeah. Another thing to keep in mind is that I’m from east coast US in which I have better ping even though I have not the ideal gaming setup. I play on a normal laptop. Plus I have a divan drill along with quick claw scatha and bal.

Does this still work? (Slayer bug) cuz I tried starting and leaving the lobby (both /is and /hub) and I tried leaving server, and I also tried Alt + F4 and everything resulted in slayer failed

How do I do the slayer bug for gummy bears? that bug always happens to me by accident so I don't know how to do it!
eat a gummy bear, start a t1 quest, once you’re 1 kill away spawn boss and leave as it’s spawn particles are starting. if it still says kill boss you did it correct.

Immediately as you're spawning a slayer boss, disconnect for the server. When you reconnect, the bug should be active

mining currently is quite irrelevant, there are so many better money making methods that dont require as much preparation and gear, cool vid tho

Theres lots of ways to make money but i wouldnt say mining is irrelevant especially if you already have gear/powder which many do
