I just bought one last sunday at my local store and this video comes out haha. It really is amazing, sounds really full and the head lets the wood speak. BOOM!
Tony Royster Jr. tells us why he plays the new Powerstroke 3 Black Dot! @TheDrRoyster #teamremo #new #drumhead ruclips.net/video/OVsrKUU_Q6Y/видео.html
i recently bought the controlled sound black dot from guitar center. is it the same thing? i purchased it online because i thought it was this drum head,
Tony isn’t good at selling or advertising products by speaking, he def does it simply with his playing. Seems he never really knows a lot about his gear, he just loves to play drums. There was an interview where the guy asked him what kinda cymbals he was using and what are his tom sizes and he had no idea. He had to look and read each cymbal and say I think this is a evolution crash...oh nvm it’s an Aax xplosion crash, as he’s reading it on the cymbal and correcting himself Lol. And he had no idea what type of kit. He just said I’m using a collectors with normal sizes and it’s either maple or some other type of wood. Lollll. But u can’t blame him, he’s been endorsed and sponsored since super young and gets different gear all the time and plays all kinds of kits so it’s understandable. Just some people have a knack of speaking for the company as their own while selling the product with their playing but Tony’s skills are so great his playing is good enough.
Best kick drum head Iv ever used. Use this with a coated pinstripe on my snare and clear vintage emperors on my toms. Iv never been happier!!!
dude that’s some fat sound

Tony Royster is the best drummer in my oppinion. Holy shoot! Dat speed doe. Great head too! I might go pick one up!
I just slapped one of these on my kick & it's the first head that doesn't make my snare buzz. Nice low pitched punch to it. Glory.
What do you use on you bass drum resonant head?... Do you apply any muffling inside it?

Remo Inc I have a question about this head. Does it come as coated too?
So is it in total of 18 mils? Because I understand a Power. 3 is 13 mils, so with the additional 5 mil controlled sound dot will o t be 18?
Isn't know he okay Remo, pretty sick!
What Tom batter heads is he using?
looks like Remo black suede emperors
where can I buy it from England
Just visit your local music retailer! thanks for your comment!
