    My personal top 3:
-petty king Dumnarth of Cornwall. You're the last remaining original British ruler and your main goal will be to reconquer the lands of your forefathers and become the new Pendragon. It's not impossible to do but it's still challenging. You basically have to use everything, diplomacy, military force and scheming to survive and reach your goals.
-Rostam Bavandid the last Sassanid: here you can take advantage of the Persian struggle for power to bring your dynasty back to old strength and restore the old Persian empire. Rostam is one of the best rulers in the game because he's is good at every category (Marshall, Steward, diplomacy, intrigue and education) and he's a secret zoroastrian faith while officially being a Muslim. So you can abuse the official Muslim faith to form alliances with the more powerful Muslim nations only until you are strong enough to reveal your true faith.
-Duke Krutoj of Wilzenland: he's one of the two remaining independent polabian and slovianskanik rulers. And he's the best because he's always strong in martial. You will face some struggles because you're surrounded by mean catholic nations that look to wipe you out. So your immediate goal is to unite the polabians (through war or through diplomacy if you have children to match) and to conquer pomerania and form the kingdom of pomerania. After that you have to gain power by any means necessary, attack anyone that is weaker then you while constantly improving your army and fight off the many enemy invasions. You should also focus on conquering the three religious sites (rania, plock and novgorod) so you can reform your faith. But if you want it more calm you can always convert to Christianity and join one of the bigger kingdoms or form your own by fighting the pagans. But this is much funnier if you stay pagan yourself because you don't need claims to declare wars and you can always go rading if you're short on money

Thank you for sharing your favourite starts! I am also a big fan of Sassanid Empire and actually have been thinking to talk about Rostam Bavandid in one of the future videos, after being powerful enough I like spreading Zoroastrianism all around the world.
