Anarchy is one of the greatest purge movies out of the entire franchise! The theatre experience was so insane! This one will always be top tier! Great reaction brother. ❤
It used to be my least favorite. But now it comes in 2nd place, with election year taking the lead
You’ve done quite a few blumhouse production movies already and this is typical (Paranormal activity, i believe you also did Sinister). Their first movies of a franchise are always low budget and I believe even the actors get their pays adjusted depending on box office. So the subsequent movies of their franchises tend to be higher budget.
The first one had a $3 million dollar budget so shooting it in a closed space made sense, this one had a $10 million dollar budget so there’s a lot more outdoors scenes and more action. The most expensive one to date is the 5th at $18 million and it shows.

Cool story but apparently that couple with the broken down car was chosen by a vote . The people making the movie asked us what would we like to see happen and that's what was chosen . Would be a scary ass situation to be in aye .

Yeah the first Purge movie was one of the most boring (and bc of some characters sometimes annoying) movies I've ever seen. But ofc no offense to those who liked it. ^^ Anarchy to me was definitely more entertaining and "cool" if you wanna call it that.

There are 3 people in my life I would trust around me when n that if the purge was real.
I didn’t think I would like these movies but I watched them on a whim years back and this one in particular is so good. Great premise, great expansion of the first film, introduces a larger lore and story and remains, gory and scary!
Higher expectations.
Casting, action, suspense, horror and even more of the
unexpected in this universe.
I forgot this took place in 2023.
People being caught out there on this night, trying to fend for
themselves was as scary as imagine.
Staying alive till the morning is no cake walk.
I assumed that Leo Barnes, LAPD (Frank Grillo) was really trying to save people.
But was more anti-hero than seen in the trailers.
He was dropping these crazies like flies.
Could've been casted as The Punisher (I agree).
It was so repulsive to see the rich and wealthy act in a 'neo-addictive' way on this night.
Craving to be rid of the lower classes as an sport of enjoyment.
But since that first film, you indeed understand that this
'One Night A Year" is not cool with everyone.
Somebody would to protest against it in one way or another and I was all for it.
RIP to Michael K. Williams (Carmelo Johns, the anti-purge rebel leader).
The word "Anarchy" simply means "No Ruler". Just FYI

Gotta recommend you check out "Kingdom", if you haven't already. MMA-themed drama series starring Frank Grillo, and the chick who plays the girlfriend here. Pretty decent watch.
Kingdom is so dope. One of the best series, especially if you're into martial arts. Frank Grillo is a savage.
If the purge was real I would take my family to the woods. Plenty of guns and ammo food and water for a week.

There's also the Purge TV series. Season 2 of it is great cause it shows what happens throughout the year after and before the purge.
As long as it was done right which also includes not being ruined by greed and also not being ruined by Woke/Liberal/Democratic cultists ideologies, agendas, and propaganda how cool would it be if a The Purge game or multiple games got developed oh yeah and it could and should have an amazing campaign and an amazing multiplayer mode or modes

Anarchy in my opinion is the best Purge movie Leo Barnes is probably my favorite character in the whole franchise as he gives me John Wick vibes
I definitely appreciated the first one and how it was only in one location,but I liked this one as well the movie you mentioned earlier was the Hunt which was crazy but decent. My favorite out of all of them were election year and anarchy. I remember going to the movie to see the very first purge and then election year.
