Fate: THE 4TH HOLY GRAIL WAR | Saber Vs Lancer

Because of certain minor details such as whether Gilgamesh had seen Excalibur or not during the 4th Holy Grail War, Fate/Zero is treated as being in an extremely similar parallel world to Fate/stay night. Fate/Zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night in the year 1994, detailing the events of the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City. Originally founded by the Einzbern, Tohsaka, and Matou families, the war involves seven Masters and seven Servants under seven classes: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster, Assassin and Berserker.

This is gonna be like the most nerd thing to say, but when I use to do Larp I actually used Lancer's fighting style and it really messed with people's head. Was the long spear important, did the short spear do anything special, what is the true reach of both? All of this was super fun to role play as.

That sounds hilarious. So you'd LARP with a short-spear and regular spear to annoy people because trying to account for both would be a gigantic pain in the ass for anyone fighting you?

@jahrusalem3658 I would hold the long spear mid way so it had the same reach of the short spear and then suddenly have it shoot forward to throw people off. And they did have special effects of the anime weapons.

@@zerozolo8981 That's actually really clever. Did you ever try the styles of other Servants? Because the idea of someone LARPing as say, Gilles is really funny no matter how dumb. Would they have people in tentacle-monster costumes waiting in the background to jump people? XD.
