Fun build. Great pace and content to actually make one of these. Glad to see you're still around. I always wondered where you were after "Rough Cut".

Fantastic details in this. Using the pin-nailer for indexing is pure genius, and honestly a big part of the reason I love videos like this. I really appreciate how thoughtful this build was.

Really enjoyed the build. Learned some things while watching. I enjoy our style of presenting, sometimes it seems you are talking directly at me (especially when you say to slow down) I'm an intermediate woodworker at best, but I think I will attempt this in the spring. Thanks for all you do. Joe

Just found your channeI. I have not watched the whole video yet and I'm already impressed by you explanation of how to use the mortis machine. I will now be paying more attention on how I use mine. Thank you for taking the time to explain the proper way to use it. I'm making several mission sofas and chairs and will have many many mortises to make for the slats.

I just started a Morris Chair project recently referencing the plans from Popular Woodworking but with my own spin. I’ve been looking for videos of others doing a similar build for insight the past few weeks but hadn’t come across your channel until now. Just wanted to commend you on such a wonderful design/build video, hands down the best on the internet that I’ve seen. Fantastic presentation and obviously you’re a master at your craft. Cheers!

@@TommyMac1 Thank you. It's beautiful wood. I just built 2 Viking chests, one out of Hickory and the other out of Jatoba. Both were like working with cast iron.
