FleurDeVlog I love the Bowery Hotel & Beauty & Essex. The East Village was my hood for a while and one of my dear friend's lives in a loft near the hotel. That area has changed so much.

I use Dr. Bronner's liquid catille in baby unscented soap to clean my makeup brushes. I just put a bit in my hand and wet the brush with warm water. Then I just scrub them until the water runs clear.

Next time you're in NYC, be sure to go to Ricky's NYC. You should be able find the large Cinema Secrets there. It's a classic NYC shop and a great place for theater makeup like Ben Nye

If you've never tried Parian Spirit brush cleanser try it! I cleans the brushes so so well and makes them smell very lightly of orange.
I always loved shoe shopping when visiting England because it seemed you would get more fashionable choices. I'm glad you found something you liked in Canada that was as fashion forward....I guess that has changed over the last 40 years haha!

I LOVE your makeup in this video! Just my opinion, but I MUCH prefer this softer, browner eye to the heavier black and deep stuff you seem to often wear. You look great in both, but personally I think this does a LOT more for you.
Also, that first outfit in the vid was AMAZING! Easily the most polished and chic look (again, my opinion) I can remember on you.

You should look into Amazon locker. I used to live in NYC and it was a lifesaver! You order something from Amazon (it only works if the shipping is fulfilled by Amazon) and you can have it shipped to a locker. There are lockers all over the city, in drugstores and convenience stores. They tell you when it has arrived and give you a code and then you go pick it up. You could order a bottle of cinema secrets ahead of time and have it delivered to a locker close to your hotel and then just pick it up while you’re in the city!

Sephora Canada sells the 8 and 32 ounce sizes of that brush cleaner. Did you look for it when you were in Toronto? I love that Bourbon scent as well.

Loved this blog. It's a great treat when I need to de-stress from the office. Fleur, next time you come to NYC go to the Ricky's store in Times Square. You can find the Cinema Secrets Liter bottle there, as well as some other nice beauty bits like Morphe makeup and brushes. Right across the street from there is a nice boutique drugstore that carries good skin care and hair care products as well.

Fleur, since you're coming back to NYC next week, you should check a beauty store called Ricky's for the full sized Cinema Secrets bottles. They're practically all over the city but I really like the one by Union Square on 14th street, they're usually well stocked!

You can get the big size cinema secrets in Ricky's NYC. It's a store in nyc that sells a million hair care brands but also sells makeup brands you don't see anywhere else often and morphe brushes. They have loads of locations in the city.

Alcone in NYC carries Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner in all sizes. Sephora's website has all of the sizes as well. I believe you can also get it direct from the Cinema Secrets website.

Hi Fleur. Sephora does sell the big 32 oz cinema secrets brush cleanser but it is only available for online purchase. I'm sure you knew that but just in case.
You can find the large Cinema Secrets brush cleanser on eBay. I still have the one I bought nearly 3 years ago, but I'll need to get a new one soon. It lasts a really long time and I agree, it's the best brush cleanser ever!

Hi Fleur! I know that they sell the Cinema Secrets cleaner online at Sephora here in the States in three sizes. I am not sure if its available in the UK though. You can also get various sizes on the Cinema Secrets website. I use it for my brushes and its the best.

The blue top isn't my style but it looks really good on you and I really like how you styled it
I LOVED that Mr. Incredible leave-in conditioner too, but I bought two bottles and half way through both bottles the nozzle pump stopped working. I thought maybe the sprayer part was just getting clogged and tried to clean it out and that wasn't it, something either was clogged or broken internally. Ulta replaced it the first time, but after that I just gave up. For the money you spend on it, it should not ever stop working. I hope you have better luck than I did. Much love to ya!

Cinema Secrets is amazing for clean brushes .. I got a little pack as a stocking stuffer for Christmas ... and I was skeptical at first .. but OMG .. the gunk that comes off is satisfyingly horrifying.
