Oh, she is delightful. Just a lovely woman with a terrific personality and sense of dark humor. I love Jane Pauley. She and, fellow Hoosier, Dave were always fun to watch together too.
I had a big crush on her when I was a kid back in the 80’s. She is a class act.

I've met her a few times over the years and she is so sweet and charming. What a tough time for her. Working that awful Early Today and Today show schedule during the week (no sleep) and then having to schlep it down to 30 Rock on Saturday to anchor Nightly News. Of course it paid well but what a terrible schedule. I'm surprised Dave didn't ask her more about working 7 days a week. Jessica Savitch anchored one of the weekend newscasts at the time.
Dave def had a thing for jane. Had her on a little too often and you can feel his liking for her.
It’s rumored that Dave liked her and her sister back in high school. They rejected him and his response was throwing vegetables at their house.
They are both Hoosiers and worked for competing stations at the same time
