The delay on the Walmart Simpsons is making more sense now. I think the lower priced sku was supposed to come out later, and it somehow got caught up with the higher priced preorders. I see them doing a $499 (or around there) Tron and KI in two months without the stool and light up deck. I think this is A1ups strategy moving forward. Hook in the high priced adopters with the deluxe versions, and then release slightly lower cost versions with less frills to scoop up the rest of us. My two cents….
It sounds about right.... These Online Cabs for them to have the Maximum amount of Value for the purchase they are going to need to sell a lot of them in order to have a healthy and appealing Online Player base. Especially since these Arcade Games are Punishing Skill based games of YesterYear. . .
Why would he call the stool goofball? That's a nice touch to get something like that with your cabinet. Well at least it used to be before they started raising the prices that almost seems like they're now charging for the stool.
You know my hatred for the Legacy cabinet control panel so this really disappoints me. That being said, the temptation may be to much for me to handle.

Maybe someone will get some skins for the riser to customize it! Would like to have KI but will have to wait till we're settled in the Florida Keys. Also, Walmart has a new Pacman Partycade available for $229. Does not show a games list but is available for purchase.
Killer Instinct is big want for me but the price has risen again ($849.99CAD) so for the time being I'm going to wait and see. I'm especially hesitant because there are no assurances that game performance will be 100% arcade accurate.
@Earl To be fair.... You could upgrade all those parts.... I wouldn't even recommend using Stock controls on A1up.... For context they are equivalent to an Entry Level Arcade stick for console that you could get for $40-60, you know when they don't come with Sanwa parts and use their own inhouse stuff. The logic plays out the same.... You like them at first until you know what you are doing and find your self wanting more out of it... You don't buy into something bundled in either because you would later end up spending more money buying specific Colors or brands for what you paid for bundled in to begin with. 😵

So once they offer the option for Name Brand Controls.... People would still end up trying to get the cheapest option anyway.
Prices are too high now. I figured i buy 2 Pokemon lite Nintendo switches 199 and Nintendo switch Oled 349....in which i luck on getting alll 3. The amount came out as much as todays 1 arcade1up cab. Arcade1up is loosing its original fan base. I will still continue to see comes out but im out of that FOMO phase. Prices deter me from buying new cabs with only 2 or 1 game. I scooped one up on the last preorder target purchase… of course I’ve had to call target and my bank to make sure the order was valid and most importantly.. wanted to let customer service know NOT to cancel the order without warning!, which seems to happening to people sometimes…
If I had unlimited money I would get this because it looks sick and the game lineup is solid. I also would love to have T2 but at 700 bucks a pop that's steep. Too much for me. Especially since I just bought X-Men (which I love) and Simpsons. And I'm running out of room too and I need to save spots for ones I really want. KI just isn't one of those I guess.

I was never a fan of KI, but it looks good. Really like spinal (i like all skeletons with swords and sheilds). I seen people playing Simpsons Bowling and it looks great. Going to get that for sure! Will be a HUGE party hit.

Preordered from target a few weeks back,played it on my xbox and realized I don’t like the game much and canceled my order. First time I ever canceled an arcade BUT I have almost 20 total (pinball’s,iircade,atgames etc) and my space is at a premium I may order T2 and sell buck hunter as I like at least 1 gun game in the bunch & never loved big buck hunter. Or I may just build (have built more like it lol) a really nice multi cab with light guns & more. Any good builders hit me up ir send them my way.
Killer instinct and Ridge racer are worth the price . T2 looks amazing but so needs more games at that price . Its a waste of those guns for just one game

699 for these cabs is outrageous. The quality unfortunately isn’t there to justify a 700 price tag. Pass! 500 is the max I would pay.
