    It is worth it to invest in simple distillation machine, your can literally make any kind of essential oil you want instead of buying the over price one at store, Also the water leftover after the oil extraction is actually really useful for skin care or hair care, well depends on the plant you use.

      Is not a water..is called hydrosol and much more important than people think. It's perfectly edible and full of fitonutrientes. Besides is very tasty depending on the plant...in milk, tea and even water

      🥘Science is like an appetizer that opens our apetite for more Research;
      It is The FREEDOM that defeats Forced SUBMISSION to non sense & superstition.
      So, regarding distilation, looks like it was already known more than 2,000 years ago, because Distilled Spirits & Perfumes already existed.
      But, It doesn't really matter when, how or who invented something, the important thing is to learn how to left behind obsolete ideologies that only stop the progress of Research & New Discoveries IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

    🤚I want to ask🤚
    Still understanding about liquid distillation
    separation of pure compounds
    So the sample I use contains two ingredients, namely: Theophylline & Paracetamol and the solvent I use: Ethanol & Aquades, here are the details of the Boiling Point
    Ethanol : 78 °C
    Aquades: 100 °C
    Theophylline : 390 °C
    Paracetamol : 420 °C
    If I want to separate the Theophylline compound,
    After I heat the filtrate in a distillation tube
    After the thermometer temperature reaches 78°C, the liquid that drips is Ethanol👈 up to a temperature of 99°C, and at a temperature of 100°C what comes out is Aquades👈 up to a temperature of 389°C👈, at a temperature of 390°C this is Theopiline liquid it comes out to 419°c👈
    What I want to ask is, are the steps I explained correct? 🙏
    because I'm still a little confused about the comparison between Filtrate & Solvent?
    Who knows, someone can explain a little to me🙏

    Nice information. One more thing i want to know if we use flowers to distill then we have to use solvant. Then show that system also plz. I think one more part is attached to use solvant. Can yu clear it.
    Secondly plz u mention how much material and how much water and what degree temperature. Then what duration to finish. How to recognise.
    And which product use solvant?
    I want to use flowrrs so how solvant can be used.
    Chaffa mogra or jasmin tube rose then roses?

      You watch the destillate that is coming over. The condensed and collected water is murky due to small droplets of oil. To see if the destillation is done you simply collect a few droplets of fresh destillate and see if small droplets of or if it's still merky. The destillation is done when there is no more oil coming over.

    What temperature does Delta 9 dissappate beyond natural reassembly?
    And it evaporates with the water in a vapor.
    I don't understand why anyone would want to do this, do you need to make oil out of 20 lbs which are passed expiration, stale, to recoup shelf space?
    When is extraction not worth the loss, and when is it?
    I don't see how separating the oil from the fiber is making something new.
    No flames, hot plates only and compression explosion awareness is required for hobbyists.

    I think about destillating some wood types. Does anyone have experiences or tips for that. I haven't destilled bevore but I often have big amounts of wood turning shavings that are too good for beeing thrown away.

    • @allenhonaker4107
      @allenhonaker4107 2 года назад

      Don't throw them away. Bag them up and sell them for mulch at the local flea market. Also you can grind them in a blender or coffee grinder. If you mix the resulting powder with glue and a matching stain you can repair small holes in any furniture or wooden structure. It works like spackle only it's wood

    • @aurasensor
      @aurasensor Год назад

      You would have to grind them. Then, immediately do the vapor distillation. The essential oils would escape if you store the powder. The resins may cause problems though.
