I learned here more in 2min than in 40min class
SAME
Facts all the googling I did don’t compare to this video 😂😂 . I’m taking notes lmaoo
Do you know how can I calculate the efficiency of the process? 🤔🤔
@@BrooklynBlunts 🤣🤣🤣
I'm enrolled in you tube university
Straight and to-the-point explanation. Loved it.
This is the best video I've seen on Steam Distillation by far, very nicely explained using simple language. Thanks a lot, very helpful !
watch at 1.25 speed.. trust me
thanks
luv
the intro music with the upped tempo
Thanks uuuu😂
Thank you 😊
It is worth it to invest in simple distillation machine, your can literally make any kind of essential oil you want instead of buying the over price one at store, Also the water leftover after the oil extraction is actually really useful for skin care or hair care, well depends on the plant you use.
Is not a water..is called hydrosol and much more important than people think. It's perfectly edible and full of fitonutrientes. Besides is very tasty depending on the plant...in milk, tea and even water
Cant explain how helpful these vdos r for studying students thankuuu
This video was short but very helpful thank you so much
🥘Science is like an appetizer that opens our apetite for more Research;
It is The FREEDOM that defeats Forced SUBMISSION to non sense & superstition.
So, regarding distilation, looks like it was already known more than 2,000 years ago, because Distilled Spirits & Perfumes already existed.
But, It doesn't really matter when, how or who invented something, the important thing is to learn how to left behind obsolete ideologies that only stop the progress of Research & New Discoveries IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

Oh my god this is the prettiest thing I have ever seen. Yesterday I discovered that my failed rainbow coleus plants that came out fully green, actually smell like really good. I am sure I can try this with them!!
Wow such straight explanation....better then my 1 hour class!!!
I really need to be on RUclips classes now. I understand better now, thank you for this video
Perfect and to the point. Loved it!
informative and to the point..
By the way, loved the narrator's voice! :)
Okay. That's great. I'm a german and need exactly that for my presentation. Thank you so much 🙈
This will help me so much, I make my own medication for my mental health problems and so far I’ve seen great success with smoking and tea, but I wanted to turn my medicine into an oil I could drop in a little water and drink instead of tarring up my lungs or drinking unpleasant tasting tea (medicine often isn’t yummy).
No beating around the bush. Was able to understand how essential oil is made. Thanks
I definitely want my own distiller now. My plants deserve to be made into oil❤️
first time i see video clear simple and communicative good luck please continue
nadjib labed ye biomass or hydrosol kya hota he plz tell me
Wahidiyah
Its nice. I started learn this knowledge for my patchouli farmers group in Central of Java.
Wow I finally understand how it’s work. Thank you!!
I really like the background music, could anyone point me where to find it?
it's called Husker Du - Pride
Nice background music
Same 2 u
thank you very much its short but provides all relevant information about steam distillation
Very nice explaination, we need to know the basic of how the flow before some and more complicated reaction big thanks
🤚I want to ask🤚
Still understanding about liquid distillation
separation of pure compounds
So the sample I use contains two ingredients, namely: Theophylline & Paracetamol and the solvent I use: Ethanol & Aquades, here are the details of the Boiling Point
Ethanol : 78 °C
Aquades: 100 °C
Theophylline : 390 °C
Paracetamol : 420 °C
If I want to separate the Theophylline compound,
After I heat the filtrate in a distillation tube
After the thermometer temperature reaches 78°C, the liquid that drips is Ethanol👈 up to a temperature of 99°C, and at a temperature of 100°C what comes out is Aquades👈 up to a temperature of 389°C👈, at a temperature of 390°C this is Theopiline liquid it comes out to 419°c👈
What I want to ask is, are the steps I explained correct? 🙏
because I'm still a little confused about the comparison between Filtrate & Solvent?
Who knows, someone can explain a little to me🙏
awesome video....wonderful explanation!! keep up the good work
7 years.... Though was very helpful for me... Thanks
Nice information. One more thing i want to know if we use flowers to distill then we have to use solvant. Then show that system also plz. I think one more part is attached to use solvant. Can yu clear it.
Secondly plz u mention how much material and how much water and what degree temperature. Then what duration to finish. How to recognise.
And which product use solvant?
I want to use flowrrs so how solvant can be used.
Chaffa mogra or jasmin tube rose then roses?
Very easy to explained, learned easily, thanks s lot
extremely helpful video for my school.
Beautiful animation ❤❤❤
Should the biomass be in a air tight chamber leading to the condenser
Yes, it has to be. Otherwise, the steam and vapours will simply dissipate into the atmosphere.
You get distilling equipment on amazon, depends on the country you live in, though.
Can you tell me on what temperature water to boil to get biogas to convert into oil???
Such a nice explanation
simple but great video
Thank you for your teaching and keep on doing it ☺️🐱
Great explanation
I have several pimento trees in JAMAICA and would like to make pimento oil from the leaves, does anyone knows if the green leaves can be used or if they must be dried?
Hey there, studying at 2am for the test tomorrow? Same here bud
Can any one tell me when tu turn off the gas .. how i would know its time to switch it off??
You watch the destillate that is coming over. The condensed and collected water is murky due to small droplets of oil. To see if the destillation is done you simply collect a few droplets of fresh destillate and see if small droplets of or if it's still merky. The destillation is done when there is no more oil coming over.
Thanks.... This is really easy to understand
THIS HELPED US ALOT
Wow thank you for making it easy
Nice bro it really helped my understand
Good explanation.
Perfect explanation 😊😊😊
Thank you
I love steam distillation
Can other oils be produced using Steam Distillation? Like oils in making for Biodiesel?
so nicely and precisely explaoned.
Most important glass peice of the distill in my opinion is a vacume adapter!
Beautiful very interesting vdo.thanks
I think about destillating some wood types. Does anyone have experiences or tips for that. I haven't destilled bevore but I often have big amounts of wood turning shavings that are too good for beeing thrown away.
Don't throw them away. Bag them up and sell them for mulch at the local flea market. Also you can grind them in a blender or coffee grinder. If you mix the resulting powder with glue and a matching stain you can repair small holes in any furniture or wooden structure. It works like spackle only it's wood
You would have to grind them. Then, immediately do the vapor distillation. The essential oils would escape if you store the powder. The resins may cause problems though.
How you do your animation please tell me
how is it that i learnt more in a 2 minute video than in a 2 hour lecture ???????
Love your work,keep going
I learned more from this
If want to buy copper distillor then fr where we get
please the reservoir need to be with distilled water ? if yes why ?
I imagine that because distiled water is clean, to not spoil the oil and the final water(secondary product).
nadjib labed You can use tap water, because you are distilling the water, in the process to extract the oil.
It's probably so that no residue is left behind in the boiling flask, but because the residue is mostly calcium carbonate, it can easily be cleaned with vinegar or some other acid
beautiful video!
Love this good effort❤❤
How does a condenser work to cool it down?
does it work for extracting oil from seeds?
Normally seed oil is extracted from seeds by pressing the seeds
Great video!
nice presentation
Where this is available cost and capacity say 300 or 500 kg
Can use with cannabis???
Thc is badly water soluble. Rather not.

hi. im from sri lanka . we making cinnamon leaf oil, i need make cinnamon boiler, but it expensive; any one can help me.
OMNI iNDUSTRIES, Chennai, Tamilnadu we manufacture Baby boiler.
how much water and how much biomass? What is the rate? Please i need a pro help
amazing explain
Awesome. Thanks u so much
Thank You!❤
What temperature does Delta 9 dissappate beyond natural reassembly?
And it evaporates with the water in a vapor.
I don't understand why anyone would want to do this, do you need to make oil out of 20 lbs which are passed expiration, stale, to recoup shelf space?
When is extraction not worth the loss, and when is it?
I don't see how separating the oil from the fiber is making something new.
No flames, hot plates only and compression explosion awareness is required for hobbyists.

2years doubt clear in 2min
Thank u so much
Who knew you could distill steam!
Well Done
Simple and superrr
Very nice
Thx for info
Good video
Informative
THANKS A LOT ❤
What is hydrosol
aromatic distillate oil
hydrosol is one of the liquid obtained in the destillation process, the another one is the oil
Thank you.
Sanket Pupala biomass or hydrosol kya hota he plz
Very useful!.......
Thanks
Thank you😍
Steam distillation is not the most efficient method. Pouring boiling water over herbs, filtering and Separating is much faster with higher yields. Most people prefer extraction with alcohol as the best method.
These processes do not deliver pure essential oils.
thank youuuu
What is biomass
Organic material I think that's how they want you to distinguish it from other stuff basically mint leaves pine leaves like peel anything you want the oil from
Thanku 🙏🏻
Best vidoe
Great👍
nice and helpful video
Digvijay Rathore sir ye biomass or hydrosol kya hota hai
