What type of oc you want me to draw: A dog, unsure whether I would like to use my sona (a borzoi) or my dog (mutt) quite yet
Extra details: A nighttime setting (cloudy but starry) in a grassy field (maybe some yellow flowers? like dandelions) and a singular tree (pine)
Why you would like this YCH: I was on a doom scroll and saw it pop up. Was going to initially skip and watch later but the frame of the dog at the start just had this look to it that reminded me of my dog and I broke down crying :') I got her when I was 2 and dont have a single memory where she wasnt in the picture. She passed yesterday and ive been avoiding facing it due to school and having to stay focused on my studies.
Questions: Im still unsure whether i'd like my sona or my dog used, mostly due to the fact that my dog has never had a reference/character made of her. I would likely have to send photos in as her reference, or I could work out a reference of her soon (I have some sketches saved from an old animatic I started and never finished), however if that is too difficult id be happy to just use my sona instead

I’m Rex! My oc is a black and white stripped Mainecoon cat named RacconClaw. He is a warriors oc with a fully completed ref I could send over discord!
I’d like him to be used in the YCH due to his lore! He has fought many battles he wished not to take part in, and even had to kill his own mate.
The background would be a night sky with him sitting either on a stone wall or grassy terrain. At the part when the claws flash maybe they could be covered in blood as well? With the next shot being him with the blood running down his chin with tears forming in his eyes!
I love this YCH due to Estranger being one of my favorite Jack Stauber songs, and it fitting well with my oc’s backstory! I had seen a few of your YCHs before but didn’t have a character who fit into one.

Hi, I’m thundergrowl, I have a d!scord and a toyhouse with a couple of very clear and good references. (I also can just sent over the references through normal pics instead of the toyhouse)
I have an oc that would fit perfectly for this! His name is Kazuma Kumengetsu, he’s a cat. With a troubled past who becomes a villain. This animation meme would fit perfectly for him since this portrays his emotions so well! For the background i think it would be cool if it was a city view with the sun slowly rising and in the second part where a half moon is shining over the city since he has a very close relationship with the moon and his title is half moon. And as for the lighting, anything that would fit the scene is fine with me. Kazuma is a Bungo stray dog insert oc of mine and I’ve been looking to get some art of him. I’ve been looking to get more art for my boy since I only recently created him. I’ve just finished up his backstory as well. I’ve been commissioning people right and left but an animation would be so cool to have!
I’m also willing to pay in art, I know this is free but I have been looking to improve my art so I would be more then happy to throw in some extra art.
A question for you though, what got you into animation? And how did you learn it?
Thanks for the comment! I honestly don't know my motive for getting into animation. One day I guess I found an animation app and started playing around with it! I learned some of the things I know from tutorials, and also replicating styles. I'm still learning new things everyday, even if I don't plan on going into animation for my career! :)
@@FelixSpells sounds cool! I’ve been getting into animation myself quite recently. Although I’m nowhere near your level when it comes to animation I find it pretty relaxing and fun to do, animating is so much fun! Especially frame by frame

I do indeed have a few references of her all hand-drawn, with all needed details on every which-way to draw her! If needed I can create a simplified version of her specifically for animating, and I’d be glad to do so.
The background, I would like layered deep purple grass that fades to light lavender the further from the camera it gets, and the sky, I’d like it to be nighttime, with a bunch of stars, and a huge, bright, waning crescent moon to accompany the night sky!

I simply would like to be chosen, because I love seeing what other people can do! I love seeing my characters in other styles, it fascinates me, and I get to see your talent! I also am currently working on a long and tedious animation, and am unable to animate anything for myself for the time being, which will probably be that way for at least a few more months or so. I hope I’m not being too buggy about this entry

For the extra details, if you could do like little boxes in the empty space, I’d like to show her relationships with her family and lovers (the main ones being her mother and father, her first lover, her second lover, and her brothers since those are the specific members her shaped her life). For the background, I’m thinking a sunset theme with some purple and pinks within the orange, red, and yellow hues, almost like after a storm (sorry if this is a lot).
The reason I want this YCH is because I want to shape this story into more than just words. It’s a passion project for me and I’d really love to see it come to life.

I have a feline cat named Dim (I'll send the ref if picked) who can have the background of a starry night (most preferred) or a soft sunset in the field or on a stone wall (depends on what you preferred).
The extra details could have some white outlined flowers all over her (can be blooming or just waving by) with possible stars twinkling in the sky.
Why? I felt like putting some of my characters in YCHs, and I thought this would be a perfect fit for her.

I have a cat/snow leopard-like OC (fantasy, with purple fur) and would like backgrounds related to her life, especially the river where she "buried" her husband and son, and the mountains near where she lives with her only daughter. I've been watching you for a while but I've been to shy to enter a YCH and I think this really fits her character, and I haven't really made that much art of her. To begin with, Hello :), you can call me Aloy. I will write about the points from the description :_)..
1. I can only send the color of the PM. And if you describe it, then this is a cat, the main color is white. In a spotted color (spots of 2 colors. Some are red, others are light yellow) Ears are like ears, I think nothing special. The tail is fluffy and of medium length (I think like in the video about Ych itself), the eyes are emerald in color, that is, green for short. The character also has a feature - wings (this is not necessary!, if it is possible to make them, it will be wonderful)
2. In the moment where the character is sitting looking into the distance, I would like there to be a meadow, and above the sky with stars. When paws with claws are visible, grass with drops of blood. When the muzzle, a gloomy sky with clouds.
3. There is a Discord, but to be honest I don’t know how to share it, if I get a response, sender

The background would be a city with some buldings,like houses and stores,nothing biger than 4-story building.In the back of the city,there is a mountain with caves,the mountain does not have a lot of vegetation and the caves seem to go deep into the inside of the mountain
The lightinig is,how can I explain it,the same when there is sun,but it is winter and it is still cold.Or night with the light of the full moon .

I’m Scratch, and it’d be a feline oc! Her name is Hope, and I have a ref as an unlisted video I’ll share if I win! No discord though. I want this YCH for the same reasons as in the past, to have art of my oc’s since I can’t draw, and I adore your style! And would it be possible for the 2nd frame for her to look angry while she’s crying? For the main background it would be her laying in a clearing at night with maybe a few fireflies(if possible, and for the first 2 shots she would be sitting in her nest in her den, and the 2nd round of 2 shots would be on a field after a battle, during the day.

She came back alive by a black smoke and met up with a huge snake that

She became a warrior and got revenge
