  • In January 2003, a psychic medium is terrified after having powerful visions of a violent murder in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She saw the face of a man she believes to be a crazed serial killer on the loose. Ignored by police, she was left with the knowledge that her community was in danger. Will she convince the authorities before more innocent women are brutalized?

  • @taxiuniversum
    @taxiuniversum 2 года назад +7

    Wow. This case shows two things:
    1.) How utterly destructive it can be if law enforcement is too narrow-minded, and won’t consider options that stand at odds with their preconceived assumptions.
    2.) What a burden it can be two psychics to work in this field: They COULD (potentially) have kept several women from getting murdered - but it didn’t work out. I suppose it takes a toll on these brave souls to deal with this kind of responsibility. God bless them (and, of course also all the good police officers out there) for doing what they are doing!

That was 3 years before the same guy murdered those women in Baton Rouge. The police in her area reached out to Baton Rouge police and said you may want to speak with 'that lady'. BRPD interviewed her and brought in a sketch artist. They released that sketch and immediately received a tip. The BRPD pulled his pic along with others to see if she could ID him. She did! They took his DNA, it was a match. Where the psychic comes in, I have no idea.

    Psychics who have a gift, should be utilised more around the world by police. I know there are fakes out there, but weed out the ones who have a genuine gift and allow them to work alongside law enforcements

    I'm very interested in these psychic documentaries. It was criminal negligence that the police did not take the psychic picture of a black man seriously and doggedly carried on looking for a white male. However, the psychic sketch did not really look like the perpetrator. Darker and thicker lips.

    Be aware of your surroundings, stop texting or talking on phones as u walk about. If u see men hanging around a store or neighborhood, etc. do not stop or leave your home. Never ever open your door to anyone u don't know. That includes delivery people from food delivery to florist. Deliveries can be left at the door as they are prepaid.

    The task force should have been charged for a negligent investigation. One thing is to dismiss the claims of a psychic, another is to dismiss witnesses' account that are all consistent. They could have caught him sooner and prevented the death of more victims.
